This coffee took FOREVER to arrive. I ordered on the 3rd, today is the 26th. I almost forgot I ordered it, until the other day, when I started to become annoyed. In fairness, I think the estimated delivery date was around the 20th, I'm not positive. I guess I'm spoiled & used to getting things in one or two days. However...all has been forgiven - this was totally worth the wait. Just received my beans, and ground up a batch. I realize your taste may differ than mine, but this is without a doubt the best tasting coffee I've ever had...and it's decaf! Sadly, doctor's orders are no more caffeine, and I used to live on the stuff. Now, I'll enjoy an iced decaf a few times a week. I've been using a popular brand you can find at any department store. It was OK...acceptable. That's all over with now. This stuff is amazing. I don't get where some have said it tastes burnt? You want burnt, go to that popular coffee chain. This stuff is SMOOTH. I can't say enough good things...plus Amazon is now saying if I order more, I'll have it tomorrow? Maybe they do it in batches, so it's available now? I may take them up on that.

Excellent decaffeinated coffee. Upon opening the bag I was rewarded with that lovely coffee aroma. Inside the bag were dark, oily, rich-looking beans shining at me. The first sip was bold with a distinct cinnamon note. I have been a huge fan of Peet’s Major Dickinsons Blend but I now have another go-to in my pantry. (Especially in the evening hours.)

This review is mine and my husbands, separately. First mine. I absolutely did not like the coffee! I felt it left a bitter taste and I couldn't even finish my cup. However, since I'm not really a coffee drinker I'm probably not the best judge of coffee. My husband wanted coffee the other night and needed decaf, which I had but warned him of the bitter taste. His review is much different than mine. He actually liked it! He said it was very smooth and did NOT leave a bitter after taste. I dont know if this makes a difference or not, but i used a Keurig for mine and he used a french press for his. If anyone reads reviews like I do before purchasing, I'd go with his as he's been drinking coffee for a long time and honestly, I just started several years ago.

We have enjoyed this coffee for a while now. I just wish it came pre-ground because small home use grinders can leave sm pieces of metal from blade in it. Even with looming tariffs we would prob have kept buying it. It is really smooth, flavorful, and organic Swiss water process DECAF! A great product from Canada.

With all my reviews I give the good, the bad, and a fair summary. The tragedy of this AMAZING decaf coffee lies in things OUTSIDE the product itself, so read below carefully: The GOOD: This is the best decaf coffee I've ever tasted. Consistently smooth when cold-brewed or heated alike. Free of fungus (or that stuff that looks like fungus), and they utilize a "Swiss Water Method" of extracting the caffeine, which is free of the traditional way which uses chemicals or whatever. I have consistently suggested this brand of coffee to others, who then laugh at me for bothering to drink decaf coffee in the first place. I'm almost certain their other coffees are just as good. Bravo. Slow morning clap. The BAD: Because the product is out of Canada, when buying shipping off their website, they'll charge you $17 to ship alone. Get out of here, buddy. The prices on the website are a little lower, but if you notice, the difference is reflected on Amazon, so regardless you're paying for the coffee + international shipping, regardless how they package it. From what I understand, they supply it to COSTCO and Whole Foods, so try your luck finding it there to see if the prices are better. That international shipping is killer, boys. As a plus, KHC will give you a free shipping option for your FIRST purchase, but require the $17 each new time. I'm over here wondering how I can get around that. Regardless, the product itself is a treasure to the taste buds. I just can't get over the price of international shipping. In the future, I'll explore Whole Foods as an option, but until then, I'll make my current supply last as much as I can I guess. Thank you.

I buy things I don't needReviewed in the United States on January 14, 2025

This coffee is great for a dark roast decaf. It's been my go to for a drip coffee for a couple years now. I have used this as an espresso when I was out of my normal decaf espresso beans, and like others mentioned, it's not as deep of a flavor as you expect from an espresso. But it's not an espresso roast so I can't hold that against the product. I am glad to see this is back in stock (my last 2 orders have been cancelled due to it being it if stock) and not at outrageous prices from scalpers.

The fit over the eyes are super large. So basically impossible for side or front sleeping.Reviewed in Australia on September 7, 2024

Was so keen to try this coffee out. I found it rather bland. Not a lot of flavour. It didn’t meet the hype from current reviews. Pretty ordinary for such an expensive product.

Didn't give the kick I thought it would. I expected a stronger taste of coffee.

Decaf coffee is often a medium roast and tastes dull and disappointing. Kicking Horse is a fantastic brand of coffee and their decaf doesn’t let you down. If you prefer a bold and flavourful dark roast and are looking for a decaf option, this is a perfect choice.
