My latest arthritis situation was such that I could not use my Swing-a-way manual can opener. I had to ask husband to open all the cans. This was obviously inconvenient. We saw this can opener on a tv commercial, and decided to order one. It's wonderful! I never wanted an electric can opener, but I am so glad we got this battery operated one. It's easy to use and it's really neat and safe as it cuts the whole top off the can leaving a smooth edge.

I wish that I would have purchased this can opener a long time ago. It works so well and easily. It cuts off the entire lid leaving a smooth edge that isn't sharp. No jagged edges. And because of the way it removes the lid, you can put the lid back on and seal the food again! It is so simple to use, my 12 year old granddaughter and my 77 year old wife can both use it easily. I would definitely recommend this can opener.

Loved the product until it just stopped! Great can opener. Easy and fits all size cans, but it just quit on us.

We've used our opener casually for the last four years (since we don't eat much canned food), replacing the batteries when needed. It's worked well, if a little noisy. The last month though, it's stopped cutting the rim on cans we've tried and after much fiddling, still does not do it's job. I hate to toss it, but there is not much else we can do with it. So, I will search for something else as a manual version working on the same principle I purchased is a little too hard for my wife to use. Nice tool, for awhile...

I had surgery on my right arm, my dominant hand, and needed a way to open cans while in recovery. This was perfect and now (after healed) I still love this can opener. I have problems using my hands and this really helps me in the kitchen. It’s super easy, works just like the video, and even though it runs on battery it doesn’t use the battery unless it’s in use. (I’ve had some products slowly zap the life out of batteries when left in, this doesn’t!).

Very easy to use. Opens cans without a problem. Is worth the money spent for opener. Batteries should be included with order.

When it did not seem to work properly, I complained and wrote to the company, and they were very responsive to my questions and concerns. I think most of the problem was that the instructions and/or manual was not clear enough. Therefore I couldn't get it to clearly open a can. I would now advise the company to be explicit about the surprises a customer might experience straight up, and up front. It DOES work in a way very different from what we're used to in can openers. In any case, when I saw a video of a person's hands using the product, and actually lifting the lid, I saw it actually did work. By then we'd begun to return and refund. If I were to buy it again, I think I'd like a corded model rather than battery power. I 1st wrote: Would have liked it if it worked, but it did NOT open a can 1st time I used it...etc., etc. If you purchase this, find the how-to video as I think that will help you see how it works!

I saw an ad and looked on Amazon for it, I purchased one to try it and I am so happy with it. The electric can opener I have is cumbersome and leaves sharp edges, this product is battery operated and does not leave any sharp edges. It is so easy to use my 5 year old granddaughter was able to use it, all you do is line the opener up to the edge of the can, push the button and it goes all by itself! I am buying one for my mom, she is in her 90s and has a hard time with manual can openers. Just makes life so much easier!

I find the charger very easy to use and it does exactly what I bought it for.
