I disagree with negative reviews. The grater is sharp, easy to clean if you know how to clean a grater, comes with a handy container, and has a sturdy bottom strip of rubber. The handle is comfortable. The grater works as expected. The value for the money is above par. The grater is easy to store and use. The versatility of the grater choices makes the piece a great purchase rather than having to store multiple pieces. Recommended.

I want to preface this with my belief that you don't buy a new item if your current item can still be used and KitchenAid products generally last. I purchased the combo package of a grater with storage/measuring cup and a Manual Can Opener. First, the Grater: I may have purchased the grater this was to replace in the early to mid 1980's. Certainly no later than 1990! This grater, with the hard plastic collar and top handle seems like it will never collapse in on itself, as my old one finally did. It's slightly larger overall and, while space is always tight in a well used kitchen, it stores its own measuring cup/covered container, so I'll forgive it. The container, with it's own seal, is very handy as I no longer have to grate onto a paper towel and then transfer that to a measuring cup. I could say that it stops one from wasting cheese when you grate too much but the "extra" was always consumed by kids, dogs & hubby wandering by and pinching a bit here & there... well, not the dogs, everyone generously shared their snagged bits with them, woof woof 😜 😉 The Manual Can Opener: I am blown away by the ease of use and quality of this product. I have an opener that never caught the can edge properly, needed excessive pressure to hold the handles tightly together and usually needed repeated repositioning every time I needed to open a can! As my arthritis has worsened, I often needed someone else to help and watched THEM have the same issues. Anyway, when my grater collapsed, I saw the package with both and ordered it immediately. This opener is extremely easy to use, it doesn't open very wide but, I placed it on a can, gave a little squeeze and easily turned the handle just a couple of times before the lid dropped into the mandarin oranges! I was flabbergasted at the ease of use because I've been using the old one for several years, often got pinched and would just give up on trying to get a lid entirely off. We would pry the can open with something else until we could scoop out the contents. Luckily, we don't really open many cans and, until the mandarin oranges stopped having "pull tops" it was rare to NEED an opener. I'm not cheap, I AM frugal. I don't know where the old opener came from but, I know KitchenAid. For well over 35 years, I've owned a (refurbished) KitchenAid Mixer including many of the attachments and several other KitchenAid products. Every item with their name on it has provided years of service and they stand behind their products. This package was more expensive than most of the others and that's a consideration for some but I'm confident that I'll save money in the long run. Spend a couple of extra dollars now and you won't have to replace the items as often.

This is an awesome grater. It works fantastic. It’s sharp and easy to use. The cup comes with works well and it’s easy to clean (so is the grater). Great buy!

The sturdiness of this product and utility is great

We love the size, shape, weight, use ability and quality.

I love this grater. Having four sides that each produce different kinds of grating is great. One tool takes care of soft cheeses to hard vegetables. And the fact that it's dishwasher safe is a real plus. The container attaches to catch the gratings - another plus! It's everything I had hoped for and more.

I know this thing is old-school But it works well. I love the way that it has the storage container that you can create anything into. I love the quality of the build because it’s KitchenAid. I just love the construction and the versatility of this grater.

This is just what I have been looking for. The grater is perfect, sturdy and very easy to clean. I love the container that comes with the grater for cheese. Thank you so much

O material é excelente, mas pra mim é muito grande, não me adaptei. Pra quem precisa fazer grandes quantidades vale a pena.

Es un excelente producto, tiene buen filo en todos los lados, incluso el rallador más fino si sirve muy bien. Es una gran ventaja que trae un recipiente con tapa, el cual puede tener otros usos. Lo único que no es muy necesario para mi es que sea tan grande, ya que es bastante grande y para guardarlo si necesita espacio. Pero no es un problema, es un buen producto y vale la pena.

De très bonne qualité

El material está excelente, el recubrimiento es completo por lo que no se oxidará tan pronto como los rayadores de otra marca. El filo es muy bueno, el rebanador lo usé con una papa, es muy fácil, solo recomiendo tener cuidado con los dedos.
