We had an antique masher that was in my partner's family for two generations, so it was sad to have it's wooden handle break. I am a serious cook who has an extensive kitchen tool box. I look for tools that enable me to complete a task without a second thought. This masher easily met my expectations. Its solid in construction, fits my hands well and mashed sweet potatoes and butternut squash efficiently. There are models for a few dollars less. I purchased this model because of the reviews I read. I echo that this masher's quality justifies the few extra dollars in price.

I haven't had an old style potato masher in the house for years, but decided to add one back to our collection. This one feels solid, washes up nicely, and has a wide "mashing" area. I find it's good for mashing potatoes or crushing berries; but not as much so for breaking up ground meat during browning (maybe need something with more of an edge for that purpose).

Super! Sehr solide Ausführung, auch ein dicker Griff, den ich mit meinen Fingern gut und fest umfassen kann. Hervorrageng auch im Topf zu benutzen durch die abgerundete Arbeitsfläche. Ich habe schon lange einen Sparschäler von KitchenAid, zu dem ich einige der obigen Bewertungen nur wiederholen kann. Insgesamt scheint es sich um eine sehr gute Firma zu handeln, das werde ich bei weiteren Einkäufen zu Küchenwerkzeug sicher bedenken!
