It works well, but it's easy to over do it if you use too much! Less is more.

The powder works but I do not like the application method of "a little goes a long way". What is too much? What is too little?

This dry shampoo is awesome. It has ingredients I haven't seen in dry shampoos before. Typically dry shampoo isn't that great for your hair, so I don't normally use those products anymore----but I actually feel comfortable using this one. I think the ingredients that are doing the dry shampoo magic are the corn starch and rice protein, but it also has other great stuff in there like ashwaghanda and niacinamide. Another thing I think is great is that it's dark colored. Well, it looks like they also have a light version too, but either way it's not that white baby powder looking stuff. My hair is dark, so once I apply the powder it's already barely visible. Once i massage it into my roots, you can't see it at all and my hair looks better than it does the day I wash it. (btw, my hair is long + thick, dunno if this makes any difference in how well the product works) Heads up though, a little goes a long way so don't overdo it. Since this has that little poof applicator thing, it fortunately makes it easier to not over-apply the powder.... Yes, I've had a couple mishaps in the past with those dry shampoos you sprinkle onto your head. Ugh, never again. Anyway, I definitely recommend this if you're looking for a dry shampoo that works but doesn't contain ingredients like talc and benzene. I'm glad I found a dry shampoo I actually feel comfortable using again! It's no substation for washing your hair, but it does help you get an extra day or two of nice looking hair before you have to wash it again.

I have super oily hair, so in between wash days a dry shampoo is a must. I've been using the sprays, but they're expensive, or baby powder, which is messy and has a scent. This one is fantastic! No noticeable smell in my hair all day, great price point because you get so much use out of it (a little goes a long way), and a no mess application because you can really control how much you put on! Helps so much to refresh my oily hair and get me through a few more days before I have to wash. Love it for travel too, since it's not a liquid I don't have to worry about putting it in my liquids bag, but its small so it doesn't take up excess room in my carry on!

I bought this because of the application method that transfers the powder through a sponge. I was tired of spilling too much of another powder I was using. I really like how this transfer method works. I also like that the color is tinted like my blonde hair (the other powder I used was white and always changed the color of my hair in an unpleasant way). However, what I don’t like about this product is how my hair feels once the product is applied. It is really coarse feeling and I have a hard time running my fingers through my hair. I do not like it at all. The other product I used always kept my hair soft, so I don’t think I will buy this again.

I used spray dry shampoos for years before switching to using powder. I normally just buy arrowroot powder in bulk and put it in a shaker, but I am really loving this puff. I don't get as much product out as I've become accustomed to, but it also helps to prevent mishaps where way too much product comes out. It's a lot easier to choose exactly where I want to apply it. I can immediately see the difference, and when I brush it through my hair, it looks good as new (as in not oily). The only down side is that because it is letting out so much less product, I am not seeing quite the same level of volumizing as I have become accustomed to. It does help some! But not a whole lot. It's a very small container, but I've been using it for a couple weeks now and there's still more than half of it left. Which may not seem great, but when I was buying spray dry shampoo, I would pay probably 3/4ths of this price and it would already be out by this time. I love the applicator and the container itself is very nice looking. I wish it came in a slightly larger size (or had refill options) but I do like it.

I go approximately 3 to 4 days before washing my hair, i’ve done some bleaching, and my hair definitely needs all the oils that I can get to re-moisturize and help with some of the damage. This dry shampoo has been such a great help in between washes and preventing some of that greasiness. I really appreciate that. It does not leave my roots, looking gray or white. The little powder poo really helps with application, I can use as much or as little as I want, and I can really narrow down where I’m trying to apply it versus when you spray from a can it kind of just goes everywhere. This stuff is amazing and I love the travel size. I travel a lot for work, and this has been such an awesome little helper between washes

I have long used Kitsch products, including their rice water bar shampoo and conditioner. This dry shampoo powder is a winner, and I will add it to my Kitsch collection. I'm not typically a fan of dry shampoos because they tend to leave my hair feeling coated and weird. I wasn't sure how the powder would work and was afraid it would be noticeable and gritty, but it worked very well. It absorbs the oils and leaves my roots feeling clean and slightly lifted. Nice! The little puff makes it easy to apply just the right amount of powder and a little bit goes a long way. I use just a dab and distribute it through the roots for a nicely refreshed head of hair. I have to give Kitsch kudos for the entire package, It's easy to use and easy to take with you. I can throw it in my suitcase or even my purse for a refresh anytime and this little bottle should last for weeks. There's no fragrance and no white powder residue, both of which make me happy to add this to my hair product lineup.
