Easy assembly. The lamp is bright, a cold bulb. It is very tall, which is good to light a whole workspace. The neck bends so you can change the focus some, but there is no rotation on the stem. The description doesn't say there should be, I was just surprised being used to architect style task lighting. The power switch is on the cord and it is long, so you might have to attach it to the lamp so you can find it easily. The cord then has a USB power source. The wall wart for that is huge, but they did make it long and narrow, on a power strip it won't fit next to a 3 prong plug, only another long narrow wall wart. It is as described, and it is fine, met but did not exceed expectations.
