This little beast boots quickly and has enough horsepower to get the job done. It's not for gamers but it's sleek with good ergonomics and a good video card - plenty good enough for most users. With a small eMMC boot drive (fused to the motherboard), and a 1T SSD, it has enough juice to start fast and lots of storage capacity. I'm a programmer so I scrubbed Windows and installed Xubuntu Linux. Super easy install and the machine is impressive. I'm running two webservers (Perl on Apache and Python Flask on Apache) both accessing a Postgres database and the machine is easily up to the task. F12 on boot gets you to the boot menu and F2 gets you to the BIOS. Straightforward laptop and a joy to use. Five stars!

Thin, lightweight, Lenovo laptop with nice matte screen and clear image. Good price and works well. Going to take a little time to get used to all of the buttons since it's different from my old Lenovo laptop. Came with a year of Microsoft 365 which is nice and also easily connected to my Epson printer. Which is great since there isn't a CD drive on this laptop so I was worried about that. Has a USB A and a USB C port and HDMI. All very important for what I need my laptop for. You can easily Google or YouTube how to disable S mode. It was really easy with the 2 minute video I found that walked me through it so I could download apps outside the Microsoft store like FireAlpaca.

I don’t like negative reviews or rants. I don’t write many reviews but most of the ones I do write are 5 stars. This is the exception. I am not a geek but I’ve built my own desktop, replaced: Motherboards, RAM, Hard Drives, Video cards, etc. etc. Windows 7 on my desktop will no longer accommodate Outlook.com emails so I had to buy a new computer (per Microsoft). I used to have a Lenovo laptop and loved it. When I saw this laptop on Amazon’s Deal of the Day; 20 GB RAM and 1 T of Storage I was excited!!! I didn’t want Windows in “S” mode as I wanted a certain web browser and Adobie PDF. I also wanted a larger Hard Drive. I read and re-read all of the information about this laptop 3 times to make sure that I got what I wanted and wasn’t surprised. Nowhere on the website did it say that this was Windows 11 Home “S”. Just Windows 11 Home. After much research I’ve learned that all Windows 11 Home are “S”. To not have the “S” you have to get Windows PRO. When I opened the box on top was a little piece of paper saying that it was an “S”. You can’t find any information from the laptop until everything is “installed”. The 1 T storage is on “the Cloud”. If the box is opened but the laptop is never taken out of the wrapper Amazon charges you 10% to send it back. When I found out that the 1T storage is the “Cloud” and not hard drive they would charge you 35-50% to send it back. I don’t know if this next is Lenovo’s fault or Windows or both. When you turn it on it takes 5-10 minutes to boot up; that is if it is not downloading an update which it seems to do at least twice a day then it takes 30 minutes to download and 15 minutes to install it. The processor on my desktop is 3.20 GHz and this is 1.1 GHz so this processor is much slower. The 20 GB RAM is Lightning Fast if it is not downloading or installing an update which is GREAT! It's just that a 1.1 GHz processor for this much RAM makes this a very Sluggish machine. This takes 3 times as long to print anything as it is only 1/3 the speed. Do yourself a favor and get a larger processor. The BATTERY says it is LONG LIFE but when it is 100% fully charged it says that it can only run 4 hours & 1 minute. Not long in my book. My final gripe is Outlook email which is probably a Microsoft Office issue. If you haven’t checked your Outlook.com email for several days it doesn't update when you open it, the last email is from the last time that you opened it. You cannot “refresh” the email. To get today’s email you have to restart the laptop and all too often it is updating so the laptop won’t turn off or turn on so you have to wait 30-45 minutes to check your new email. This laptop is no better than my 4 GB RAM Lenovo laptop from 20 years ago. Do yourself a favor and buy your laptop from a Big Box store instead of AMAZON. They are easier to return even if purchased online. The seller has a 30 day return policy, just a 35-50% penalty for the information that they don’t include on the website. You don’t know how much the penalty will be until you’ve returned it and they tell you. I will NEVER buy another Lenovo or any electronics from Amazon!

Daughter needed a new laptop for work and this fits the bill! Just right for performing most work-related projects, web research, email and some entertainment while traveling.

My old Levono laptop is ancient. It dates back Windows 7. It was time to upgrade. I like the feel of Levono keyboards, and they to be trouble free for many years. The new one is very light, the keyboard is familiar, and the battery life is awesome. I find myself carrying this one around the house, on the outdoor deck, and in the basement. The old PC was heavy and had 1-2 hours battery life. Other laptops maybe better, but this one was rated highly and has exceeded my expectations. Levono seems to have made the start up process practically painless. When I the found my passwords were retained it was a true blessing and a big surprise.

This laptop replaced a real older one my wife had. I expected it to be faster but it was minimal. With Windows 11 and other newer attributes that uses up more of the processor it was extremely slow initially. It took a while to get it settled down with getting out of "S" mode, windows updates and shutting off built in things that made it crawl like the trial McAfee!. Would I buy it again? Likely not. My wife is a minimal gamer, Orange Crush, Solitaire etc and that's about it. Its good for basic stuff, email, browsing etc. The Celeron processor is slower than others available.
