I use this in my bedroom, and it works great! It's easy to fill with no mess, and only need to refill it once a day, even when running continuously. It's quiet and I love the top-fill design. A great choice for anyone looking for a reliable, affordable, and low-maintenance humidifier!

Finally, the perfect humidifier. I've gone through a number of humidifiers, some have expensive replaceable filters without automatic turn off; some have LEDs that cycle through colors or have bright LEDs that indicate the device is powered on. I hated all that. All I wanted was a simple, easy to fill and clean humidifier that would work throughout the night to increase my bedroom's humidity levels. The LEVOIT 2.5L Top Fill Humidifier for Bedroom does exactly what it's advertised to do, create humidity. It fills from the top, has an adjustment knob that turns it on and adjusts the amount of steam required, and it turns off automatically when empty. I fill it and run it all night at around 50-75% and it's still going strong in the morning. They recommend cleaning it every 3 days and it's super easy to do, so why not spend the 15 minutes or so to protect your health? My breathing is better, I told my doctor about this model and I think she'll pass the word on. I'm so glad I finally found a device that doesn't appear to be feature laden and marketer driven -- I want to think Levoit hired a user experience engineer to design their stuff, so it works, lasts and keeps lights and nonsense to a minimum. I also own one of their cordless vacuums, which isn't as well designed, but better than most -- I hope the next version of their vacuum is easier to use. Overall, I'm super happy with this humidifier device and use it nightly. Highly recommended!

What we like: This works well in our bedroom. We have noticed we aren't waking in the morning with nosebleeds and the room is overall less dry for our plants too. It's small and fits on our plant stand. Because it's small, I don't think it would as effective in a larger space. As we read with many reviews, it does need to be cleaned frequently because there is quickly a layer of buildup. We've been wiping the base and bucket with a water vinegar solution every few days. We have been using filtered water vs distilled water when running the humidifier, which may or may not add to some of the buildup. Also, there's a small filter that we've also been removing to clean that's already turned a yellowish color. We set the dial to medium and it will run for at least 8 hours when filled to the max line. So basically all night long and then some. Usually we turn it off when we leave the house. We haven't noticed any leaks and it seems sturdy enough plastic. We put a small towel under it as a precautionary measure but really don't seem to need it at this point. Cons: There's not an auto shutoff. Once it's empty it will remain on and have a red light indicating it's empty (See photo). This is why we turn it off when we leave our house. Not sure if that will play a role in longevity of the machine or not since we've only been using it for a month. So, as a precaution, we turn it off. It would be nice if it would shutoff instead of remaining on. Another con for us is that the water doesn't fully empty out of the base when the bucket is empty. So if you don't pour the bottom water out of the base, it will just sit there stagnant until you empty it fully (See photo). It was semi-reasonably priced because we got it on an amazon deal. However, we would not have paid more because really this could have better functions.

This is a great little humidifier. I replaced another humidifier in my bedroom with this one. The old one was a little larger, but the design was bad and too much water just accumulated around the lid. This one is SO much better. All of the mist shoots straight up and does what it is supposed to do. I’d like to point out that it can take a month or more to significantly increase the humidity level in a dry home. The walls, floor, and furniture absorb most of the mist in the beginning. Since I had already been using a humidifier, this little guy increased the humidity level in my 300 square foot bedroom from 35 to 47% in the first night as measured by a hygrometer. I like that this is small. It uses about a half tank overnight when set at a medium low setting. It’s so easy to rinse it out, wipe it down, and refill. I use reverse osmosis water. If you use tap water, you will likely see a white film on your furniture, which is the result of minerals in the water. I rinse the unit every day or two, whenever it is empty, wipe it out and refill. Once a week I dump out the water in the reservoir, wipe it out with a rag soaked in vinegar, and wipe out the container with the same vinegar soaked rag. It takes less than 5 minutes of weekly maintenance to do this. There are no bells and whistles with this humidifier. No annoying lights, no beeps, and no noise when running. The machine is simple and seems to be durable, all at a very affordable price.

This is an amazing product. So easy to fill with a large capacity. Puts out a big fine mist for large open area. It is silent when operating. Would buy again.

I like the ease of use, the control of the amount of humidity it puts out, and the small footprint. Also, this is way easier to clean that the last humidifier I had. Worth the money and great functionality

Su llenado superior hace que sea fácil de limpiar, lo utilizo con agua destilada y no se ha formado lama ni esa babita que quedaba en otras marcas. Es muy silencioso y me agrada que su luz no prende a menos que le falte agua, me ayuda a dormir mejor.

Es lo que promete. Si estas buscando algo bueno, efectivo; silencioso y rendidor ya lo encontraste. El trabajo, el resultado y la niebla de agua que genera son mas que suficientes para que quedes muy satisfecho. Vivo en el estado de Durango y el clima es REALMENTE SECO y despertar con la boca y gargantas secas es anécdota. lo uso con agua purificada (de garrafón) para que sea lo mas sana posible ya que la del grifo suele traer impurezas (ya sabes esas cosas). Puede que haya una opinión que cuestione el producto pero revisa bien si no es una irregularidad (que son las menos). Voy a comprar 2 mas.
