No reimbursements, refunds or compensation in-kind have been received.* My cats love this, and they are a tough crowd to please, so anytime something is a hit with them I am very happy (as I scan the sea of un-loved and un-played with cat toys spread across the living room). I also have a "1st generation" model as well but that never really caught on because it basically goes in a circle, sure it changed direction and speed but in the end it just goes in a circle which was its fatal flaw. Not only are my cats picky but they are smart. A few nights of maybe 15 minutes of play was all the original one was worth before they turned their noses up to it. However, this new randomized version is a totally different story (so far). It truly is random and not just mechanical back and forth motion either, it varies the speed along with trajectory, sometimes even coming to a complete stop for a few seconds to give them a chance to pounce. The way it moves the laser point around is moist comparable to that of a fly, which they also love, I imagine for much the same reasons. I have noticed they've figured out the laser is coming out of this device and seem a little less enthralled with it but I just put it away for a night or two and they start screaming for it back. The automated on/off cycle of like 15 min on/2 hours off (or something like that) is a very nice addition too, making it just right for their little attention spans and their natural zoom/sleep/zoom/sleep cycle. Plus, the battery life is actually pretty decent. Just make sure you charge it ahead of time because it is slow to charge, like several hours. Let's hope for a couple of years of play before the battery naturally runs down.

This indoor cat laser is definitely fun, and my cats love chasing the light! It’s super easy to use and keeps them entertained for hours. The design is sleek and the laser pattern moves in a random way, which keeps them engaged. However, there are a couple of downsides. First, it has to stay plugged in to work, which limits where you can place it. I wish it had a rechargeable battery option for more flexibility. Also, the laser doesn’t stay on for very long at a time, so you have to keep pressing the button to restart it, which can be a little annoying. Still, it's a great way to give your cats some exercise and fun, just be prepared to keep it plugged in and manage the short playtime bursts.

We’ve had this laser for quite a few months now, and my cats have NOT gotten tired of it. It does a better job than I can at moving the laser around, and has several settings to suit whatever the Cats activity level is. It does need to be charged up quite often, but doesn’t take too long to charge up. Super happy with this purchase, and highly recommend to keep kitties, active, happy, and prevent boredom when I’m not home.

I recently bought this toy, and I could not her happier with it - my cat feels the same way! It’s easy to use, runs smoothly, and keeps my furry friend entertained! It’s well-made, safe, and worth every penny. Highly recommend it for any cat owner looking to add some fun to their pet’s day!

It DOES work, however I have 2 major gripes with this. 1.) the battery life isn't the best so I like to use it while plugged in but the charging cable it comes with is only 3ft long. This item is best placed on something elevated which is way higher than the 3ft cable. I was able to remedy this by using a USB extender. Would've liked to see it come with either a USB extender or a 6ft cable. 2.) The head is supposed to be adjustable. I kept trying to point it downwards but it wouldn't go down. Then I realized it wasn't adjustable to go lower at all but rather higher. This makes no sense to me because you want the laser to point downwards on the floor or lower part of a wall. I followed another helpful reviewer's review of pinching the plastic pieces under the base to remove the head, reverse the head, and reconnect; PERFECT! It was a little difficult to pinch the clips in the base as my fingers are short, but got the job done with needle-nose pliers. Why it doesn't just come that way to begin with is a mystery to me. I'm knocking 2 stars off for needing additional equipment and configuration. Otherwise, my cat loves this thing when he's in the mood. He still prefers I use a hand-held laser which I get because he's playing with me and not a robot. But I work from home and this helps for the moments where he wants attention while I'm on the clock, otherwise i still use the hand-held laser.

My cats cannot get enough. I love the sleep function for while I'm sleeping- otherwise they would play all night! Product is quiet, cats have a blast. Good price! Cute design. Great product!

Best toy ever! Why did it take me so long to find this thing? The cats are literally laughing at the dog going nuts for the red dot. Constant entertainment and after they're all tired. Good quality and holds its charge for a good amount of time. Highly recommend!

Really keeps my cats amused

Love the idea of this product and my cat definitely is entertained by watching it but he doesn’t really chase the laser much. He moreso watches the machine move the laser around lol Battery doesn’t last long tho
