We got this for our backyard after we've had the ring doorbell for a while. They both work great. We get notifications, it's super easy to install. I mounted it to our house myself! It has night vision, great quality video. It's nice for the piece of mind - we can check on things if we stay the night somewhere. It's about the size of a smart phone, my guests usually take a while to notice it's even there! The only thing I don't love is that you have to buy video storage for each device. ($39.99) We didn't buy it for this one but do have it for the doorbell. Either way, you can look if you get in there as soon you get a notification OR you can look at live-view

for indoor use, this is a great camera with good mic; while twice as big as normal indoor camera, it's half price. install note: pull top rubber plug from back of camera and plug power cable in there.

I have bought the like-new camera 3 times now and they have always been amazing. Just as good as a new one but a lot cheaper! I love being able to expand my cameras without spending the full amount each time. I love the ring cameras and will continue to buy more, as needed.
