The Logitech Brio 101 is an exceptional Full HD 1080p webcam that delivers outstanding video quality for both professional and personal use. From the moment I started using it, I was impressed by its crisp resolution and smooth frame rates, which make video calls and recordings feel incredibly lifelike. The setup process was a breeze. It’s a plug-and-play device that worked seamlessly with my computer and popular platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and OBS Studio. This is a very affordable camera, and actually my first ever. I intend to use it for streaming, so showing my face and also tracking my movements when using an avatar model. I really like the size of this product, since it is not big but very useful and could be put literally anywhere. I am not using the camera's microphone so I can not give a specific example and review of the mic functionality. Lightning is great and you can adjust it to your liking in the camera's app or streaming platform – I believe I won't have to use any type of lighting other than my lamp on my stand next to my setup since there is such a clear image. It is okay for face tracking. (my monitor is showing an yellowish color due to my high night light settings)

I recently purchased this webcam, hoping it would meet my needs for general video calling. In terms of basic functionality, it’s fantastic. The video quality is crisp for its price point, and the audio pickup is surprisingly clear, making it an excellent choice for casual use. It works right out of the box with minimal setup, is compatible with most major platforms, and offers smooth performance even in lower light conditions. However, there is one significant drawback: this webcam struggles with close-up focus. If your primary requirement involves reading small text on camera or showing detailed objects up close, this model will fall short. It simply doesn’t have the capability to maintain sharp focus at short distances, which was a deal breaker for me. That said, if your main goal is reliable, good-quality video for regular calls, virtual meetings, or even basic streaming, it’s a solid, budget-friendly option. Just be mindful of the close-up focus limitation before purchasing.

I've been using the Logitech Brio 101 for a while now, and it's been a fantastic addition to my setup. Here are my thoughts: Pros: Video Quality: The Full HD 1080p resolution is impressive. My video calls look clear and professional, which is great for both meetings and streaming. Auto-Light Balance: This feature is a lifesaver. It automatically adjusts the lighting, so I always look well-lit, even in dim or overly bright environments. Built-In Microphone: The built-in mic captures my voice clearly, which means I don't need an external microphone for most calls. It's convenient and keeps my desk less cluttered. Privacy Shutter: I really appreciate the integrated privacy shutter. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can easily cover the camera when I'm not using it. Easy Setup: It's truly plug-and-play. I just connected it via USB-A, and it worked seamlessly with all my video conferencing apps like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. Cons: Zoom Capabilities: It doesn't have advanced zoom features, which might be a downside if you need to zoom in frequently during calls. No 4K Resolution: While 1080p is great, some might miss having a 4K option for even higher video quality. Requires USB-A Port: If your device only has USB-C ports, you'll need an adapter, which can be a bit inconvenient. Overall, the Logitech Brio 101 is a solid webcam that offers excellent video quality and useful features for both professional and casual use. It's been a reliable tool for my virtual meetings and streaming sessions.

An excellent product that works superbly with my Apple mini M1. Tried both the video and audio quality with various video online meeting software. The sound quality is very good for the listener, no echo or other distortion. The video quality is also quite good. Installation and configuration is as simple as plugging in the USB cable. That is it. Would buy it again.

I needed a camera for meetings and such. My laptop sets up on a workstation that does not need the cover open. So the LT camera and microphone are not useable for meetings. At home, the move to a new Mac Mini means in need of camera and microphone. This brio 100 is PERFECT. It is compact, much smaller than I expected it to be. Instantly recognized by my systems. And the best thing for personal privacy, is to simply UNPLUG it from the USB when not in use. The picture and lighting quality are excellent. very happy with this, at the sale price.

I've recently purchased this webcam for the purpose of using it for my Canadian Citizenship Test online. The Good: To be fair this webcam does what it's supposed to do which is able to put up a video feed. The video quality is good (1080p with 720 option for lower spec computers) along with the ability to adjust "some" settings such as exposure, or maybe add a filter using Logitech's software. Lastly, the price seemed reasonable for the purpose of using it only for the sake of having a video feed for my test... However. The Bad: With the price being reasonable and affordable. This means there are corners that have been cut which mainly is the webcam's ability to focus which is non-existent. It only has a limited range of focus which is perfect for one's visage or face at medium range. However, holding something somewhat close to the camera such as a Driver's license will blur out the information (because of no focus/auto-focus). I've tried using their software's and tried to find a solution to be able to manually adjust the focus but alas it seems that this webcam does not come with it. Long story short; I was not able to use this webcam for my Citizenship Test because during the test they required me to take a photo of a government issued id (my driver's license) "clearly" even if I've made an effort in different angles to make it look not blurry ended up unsuccessful and I regretted this purchase. Truly a shame. BUYERS BEWARE! NO FOCUS/AUTO-FOCUS ADJUSTMENT!

Bought the Logitech Brio 101 for a better experience with my three-screen setup, and it's perfect! No more relying on the laptop camera. I love how it allows me to focus on my main screen. The default settings work great for me, so no need for adjustments. The sliding privacy shutter is a big plus – super convenient and great for privacy, especially with the indicator light showing when the camera is in use. The built-in mic, while convenient, may not offer the best sound quality compared to external options. Personnally, I disabled the built-in mic to use my microphone. Highly recommend for anyone with a similar setup! Additionnally, It's worth noting that the 1080p resolution is just alright. It provides decent quality for meetings and streaming, which works fine for everyday use. However, if you're looking for that high-end, professional YouTube video quality, this might not hit the mark. It's more suited for standard video calls rather than for content creators seeking exceptional video clarity.
