They're very strong, just like everyone says. I bought them to hold a small calendar on my fridge, and they're perfect for that. The calendar flips through the months with a metal coil hinge/binder, and through the coil is a thin metal rod with a dent/curve at the center, so that you can hook the curve over a nail to hang the calendar. Well, my first idea was to just hold the calendar in place near the top of the calendar though the paper, but since these magnets are so strong, of course it was attracted to the metal coil and rod. So, as it turned out, all I had to do was just put the magnet strait on the fridge, and then magically put the calendar's thin rod thing directly on the magnet --and it held. Now, to flip to a new month with my calendar, all I have to do is pull off the calendar, flip to the next month, and return the calendar to the magnet --so easy!!! In the past I had to remove four weaker magnets I had holding the calendar. These magnets are so much better!!! I have the rest (five remaining) stacked together, also on my fridge, and they hold a pair of curved embroidery scissors which I keep handy on the fridge, for removing loose threads and cutting off labels of cloth items deep into the seam. Stacking the magnets five deep like that works well to keep the curved pointed tip of the scissors from digging into and scratching the fridge when I remove the scissors from the magnet. So, that wiped out my entire pack of six magnets for those two purposes, but these are such great magnets that I'm contemplating buying more for other uses. I also like how they look so much nicer on my fridge than the big black magnets I used to have, since these ones are smaller and prettier with their shininess. On the fridge, they have a minimal aesthetic, and match well with my other stainless steel "pushpin" magnets. I highly recommend these workhorses which every household needs!!!

I put one on my tool chest and it held my small to medium sized tape measure with no problem. The problem was when I tried to move the magnet, it was so strong that I needed pliers to get it off. Speaking of pliers they hold pliers too. Great item to use if you want to put some quick-access times on your tool chest.

They’re strong. VERY strong.

These magnets are nice and strong. I accidentally superglued two together though because the tape wasn’t strong enough and when I went to super glue them onto a surface they snapped together and became glued together. Also I accidentally dropped them on the counter about 6 inches and one broke into pieces. Overall very nice strong magnets you just have to be careful with them.

I bought these to try on my mom's brand new upright freezer. Turns out the magnetic strip in the gasket is weak and the door kept popping open. These magnets are a perfect fit, and now the door stays shut.

These are good magnets but the advertisement details indicate 18lbs of pull force. This is actually not true and if you look lower in the product details the pull force is shown as 44 newtons. This is more like 9.8 lbs of pull force. The seller should change this in the product title. I don't have a way to tell, but I believe these to not be pure Neodymium magnets but rather a lower grade mixture. Other than that, they are good quality and will probably serve most purposes.

Intrusive looking but very strong!

Strengthwise they are very good. However, two broke in half while trying to separate them. Still usable thought.

Fonctionne très bien

Lightweight, compact, and impressively strong for their size, but also relatively fragile. As advised by many other reviewers, these are highly susceptible to cracking or chipping. However, this is not unusual for magnets of this type. I can see how some people have experienced them snapping altogether. As they're not very thick or dense, they need to be handled carefully. SLIDE them apart from each other. Don't pull them off directly, especially not by the ends. Be just as cautious when adjusting them on whatever surface they've been placed. I've managed to keep all of them intact despite some minor chipping on the corners and edges of a few of them. But in my case, the breakage of tiny pieces is due primarily to their application and repeated adjustments before finalizing their placements. I've used them to supplement the resistance inside an old elliptical trainer for which I can no longer find a replacement console. As I can no longer control the resistance electronically, to compensate, I've stacked these bars along the inside of the existing break assembly, and with some experimentation, I've been able to to get about 70-80% of the maximum resistance I'd normally get without taking apart any of the mechanism, cutting cables, or forcing any contact with the main flywheel. And that's just with ONE set of these magnets. I could potentially go over 100% of the original maximum by adding a second set. In essence, I've prolonged the lifespan of my machine and saved myself hundreds of dollars. I no longer have real-time control or dynamic programming, but I'm okay with the semi-permanent, medium-difficulty setting. Anything else, I can track on my smart watch.

Definitely a good idea to slide them off each other rather than trying to pry/lift them off. You could lose a fingernail doing that with those suckers. 😯

Magnet has strong pull power. a little fragile. breaks if mishandled.
