This has worked fine for 6 months. Cost was much less than buying another Apple charger which had died due to a frayed cord.

I would buy it again. I don't recommend you leave it plugged in after your computer is fully charged. It does get hot as stated in other reviews, but it works well. I like it!

My dog decided the chew up my laptop charger during finals week!! I scurried around to find this one and matched it up with all the details listed on my original Apple charger. (Had to buy here because Apple no longer sells them). My charger was A1436 45W MagSafe 2 charger. This one works just as well! I might miss the wind up wings. This one doesn’t have them but it sure does work! The quality is decent on the plug in hinge part too. This charger does not have the option to use the 3 prong plug adapter that the older Apple charger does. But I never used it anyways haha.

Maybe I got a faulty one but it immediately stop working after a month. It went from having to play with it to connect to not connecting at all.
