I bought the Metapen Pencil A8 in purple to match my new iPad case, and it has been fantastic! Not only does it look great, but it also works just as well as the Apple Pencil for a fraction of the price. One of the best features is the fast charging—it powers up super quickly and lasts a long time. The tilt sensitivity is great for drawing and note-taking, and it feels smooth and responsive on the screen with no lag. It attaches magnetically to the iPad, which is a nice bonus, though it doesn’t charge wirelessly (but that’s expected at this price point). If you're looking for an affordable, high-quality stylus that works seamlessly with iPads from 2018 to 2024, this is a great choice. Plus, the purple color is gorgeous!

As noted by other reviewers this easily paired with the iPad and the accuracy for writing matches my Apple Pencil Pro (although some of the bonuses of pro model, like getting a menu by squeezing it, are not here but this is not meant to replace the pro model and works with virtually any iPad— unlike the Apple pro model which only works with the latest iPad, leaving me looking for something else for the other iPads I have). Aside from not reading the description fully - I assumed if it connected magnetically that that is how it would charge and that is not the case, but that’s on me. For the money (it was on sale and it cost me $21.99 for the blue model - that’s approximately 1/5 of the cost of the Apple Pencil & it is an excellent alternative. While, I’m not a fan of USB-C charging, is indeed very fast and holds a charge for a very long time, tapping the top turns it off, and it turns off after five minutes automatically. Zero difference in usability compared to Apple Pencil for what I use it for: writing notes for my practice. No lag. No noticeable friction plus I actually think the tip on this is better than the one on any of the Apple pencils that I’ve had and I am on my 3rd… I love my dog to death, but he’ll chew anything with that’s not tied down. 😂

I have been using an Apple Pencil (gen 2) for years. I recently purchased a an iPad stand with brackets and quickly got sick of having to remove my iPad from the stand during the day and at the end of the day to charge my Pencil. While shopping for an alternate charger I found this. I decided it was worth a try and I am so glad I did. It’s so much lighter, it holds a charge longer and I can charge it quickly and easily. There is also no lag and tapping with the side of the nib (menu item at the bottom of the screen, for example) works beautifully. I am ordering a couple more for my family. Great product and price point. I highly recommend.

I’ve been using my pen for a while now and it works great! At first, I was confused on how to turn it on and was able to find the solution circling back to the reviews here on this item. You can turn the pencil on by double tapping the “ eraser” end. Overall, this pencil was a great deal! Super easy to connect and use. The pencil is fairly durable, I like that it comes with multiple tips. The touch sensitivity is accurate, and I’ve experienced minimal lag. The design is sleek and universal for Apple Pencil casing and holders.

This stylus works great, it was easy to connect (actually didn’t have to connect just tap the top twice!), it fits in my hand very comfortably, and it looks great! I purchased the color white and it looks great! When you compare the price this really is unbeatable! It glides on the screen with ease, it’s very accurate and it does not lag! I haven’t used a stylus in the past (expect with my kids tablet) so I myself am getting used to it but it works exactly as it should! I love how affordable it is and I love how great it works and how gentle it is on the screen! Overall great purchase!! I will be buying more now that I know!

I use this in my home health career to have pts sign a form. They are really liking it. It’s much better than a rubber stylus and considerably better than having them use a finger. Great price, easy to use, stays charged a long time. Has no lag I’ve noticed, design is good and easy to hold. I’ve had no problems with the functionality

This product worked really well for 7 months, when it started being very inconsistent with whether it would write or not. Sometimes I could get a full session out of it, and sometimes it won't write at all, although being fully charged and on. Sometimes it writes a few letters then stops responding. That said, for the first 7 months, it was a breeze to use. Comfortable to hold, easy to connect, lightweight, and accurate when drawing or writing. I'm going to buy another one and see how it goes!

Took a chance on this off-brand stylus for my new iPad, and have been pleasantly surprised with the quality and usability. It came with a charge for instant use, and paired quickly to my iPad. It fits in my iPad case perfectly, and the case protects it from being turned on all the time (you tap the top twice to turn it on). I have been using it for a few weeks without having to recharge, so I am pleased with the battery life. Also pleased with the selection of stylus tips in the package - I haven't tried them all yet, but very happy with this purchase so far.

Just doesn’t work. The light becomes white after a charge but when I try it on my iPad it doesn’t work. I plus it immediately after for charge and the light is beeping red. Doesn’t work unfortunately - I was not lucky
