This works great. It is easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store. It is large enough to fit over our plates and other microwave-safe dishes. Only one disappointment -- it has a lot fewer ventilation holes than the old, plastic colander that we used for decades. The numbered auto-programs on our larger, Sharp Microwave don’t work as well with this new cover as they did with the old colander. This is particularly noticeable on the omelette setting. The omelettes came out wonderfully moist and fluffy before, but they come out dry and leathery with this cover. I think it is because the sensors adjust the cooking power based on measurements of the moisture in the air. Less steam reaches the sensors when using this cover. For other dishes this works great -- just not for omelettes.

I read that covering your food with plastic wrap and heating it in the microwave is not healthy. Thus I looked for an alternative. This collapsible plastic cover works great. It will cover small and large plates for heating in the microwave. I use it for many different leftovers or restaurant take home dishes. Since it flattens when you aren’t using it, it is easy to store. This is one of my favorite unusual kitchen items.

This thing is very easy to use and it's pretty nice quality. I like how it folds up too. Its worked great at keeps any splash or drips from anything in the microwave splitting everywhere. It fits great in the microwave and it's a good size it fits over all my plates.

Using the cover keeps the microwave clean. Splattering stays on the plate and not in the oven. I also use it as a colander. So I can eliminate one of the utensils in my kitchen cabinets. I like the collapsing feature as it saves space. Would buy again.

This works great. We have a few dishes that it doesn’t fully cover, but it definitely prevents the splatter. I like that is foldable so we can store it in a drawer conveniently when we’re not using it. It doesn’t get too hot after use either so it’s easy to grab fresh from the microwave.
