The suction is so much better than my old vacuum that I didn't even know how bad my old one was until I got this one! No more cat hair or dust bunnies on my hardwood floor in the corners or underneath furniture. This Miele is well made, has strong suction and is lightweight - which I need for my arthritic hands to pull around. I do agree with another reviewer who said that the cord could be longer. I have an 1800 SF house, and I thought the cord length wouldn't matter, but I do plug it in to different outlets in nearly every room, but I don't mind.

After years of using various vacuum cleaners, I've finally discovered the Miele Classic C1 Turbo Team Bagged Canister Vacuum, and it has completely transformed my cleaning routine. **Performance on Different Surfaces:** I use my vacuum to clean all surfaces in my home. From flooring, to upholstery, to dusting. One of the most impressive aspects of this vacuum is its exceptional performance on both hardwood and carpet flooring. I do switch between the turbo vacuum head and the hardwood flooring head because the hardwood flooring head has an easier time going right up against the baseboards. **Build Quality:** The vacuum is very well made, with a sturdy construction that promises durability. It's evident that Miele has put thought into the design and quality of their product, making it a reliable tool for daily use. **Maneuverability:** This vacuum is incredibly easy to maneuver. It glides smoothly across the floor and fits under most furniture, meaning I don't have to rearrange my space just to clean. This feature has saved me time and effort, making vacuuming less time consuming. **Bagged Canister Vs. Bagless:** Having never used a bagged canister vacuum before, I was skeptical at first. However, I'm now a convert. The bagged system in the Miele Classic C1 outperforms any bagless canister vacuum I've used in the past. It's efficient, hygienic, and has made me appreciate the convenience and cleanliness that comes with using a bagged model. I also appreciate that the vacuum has a filters to cleans the air as I vacuum. **Drawback:** The only minor issue I've encountered is that the vacuum can be a bit harder to push on carpet compared to my previous upright vacuums. However, this is a small price to pay for the superior cleaning power it delivers on carpeted surfaces. The effort is worth the results. **Recommendation:** If you're on the fence about switching to a bagged canister vacuum, the Miele Classic C1 Turbo Team is the one to try. It's a high-quality, versatile, and powerful cleaning tool that has exceeded my expectations. Despite the minor drawback of it being slightly harder to push on carpets, its performance, ease of use, and cleaning results far outweigh this issue. I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone looking to elevate their home cleaning game.

I'm a simple man and I appreciate quality. This thing is dripping with quality. Not interested in Dyson because I don't like overpaying for something that looks futuristic but actually isn't. I would rather go for a company that is less widely popular, but has made quality products in the industry for many years. Miele fit this bill and I have no regrets spending the money on it. I've tried cordless vacuums and cheaper vacuums. Cordless vacuums simply don't do a good enough job to justify having one around. You're basically leaving 40% of debris behind on whatever you're trying to clean. For the sake of not having a cord. Yuck. That's not my style at all. When I clean, I want the thing clean. Spent $150 on a cordless which I regret. I've tried cheaper corded vacuums and although the suction power is decent they all lack something which make them feel like a complete cleaning solution. I should have just foregone all those and bought a Miele right off the bat. Here's why it is amazing and a 5/5 overall: - Suction power is amazing. 1200W motor so there you go. It doesn't play around and it doesn't sound obnoxious either. - The bag system is much preferred. I'm so over dumping debris in a garbage can and trying to dodge a cloud of dust. Just take the bag and throw it away. I don't mind paying a little more over a lifetime of use and never having to worry about breathing in all the crap the vacuum just sucked up ever again. - Filtration system is genius. The air feels so clean after vacuuming there you would think you are in a different environment after. - The vacuum is simple yet I'm able to clean the whole house effectively with it. A simple swap of the tool head and I can reach all corners of the ceiling. Cobwebs, spider webs, dust, all gone. The wheels keep it maneuverable and allow it to swivel easily. It has a button to retract the cord so you don't have to wind it up after like most vacuums in the $200 range. Not the longest cord ever but it's fine and feels sturdy. - Once you are done with it, the vacuum slides into place to become one piece, and tucks into your closet, taking up minimal space. How considerate. Great buy and I'm very happy because my living space is fresh and clean!

This is my third Miele VAC and I love it. I do, however, miss the internal tool storage. The flimsy exterior mount for the accessory tools included is nearly worthless so you have to work around this issue and that is why it lost one star. It is a powerful and compact vacuum with classic Miele maneuverability and retractable cord. The included power-head attachment works very well when the bag is less than half full, beyond that, it only provides a limited benefit. I have a Siberian Husky dog, so I probably go through the expensive bags faster than most people would. If you don't have a pet and just have to deal with day to day dust and dirt, then ignore this comment. Highly efficient, replaceable exhaust filters work well to remove particulate matter and other contaminants unlike lower quality vacuums and that is a big advantage in owning a Miele. Recommended!

I replaced an almost 20 yr old Kenmore vacuum which as I got older found it very heavy to move around and the overall performance had diminished. I ordered the Turbo so I could get both floor attachments -- for hardwood and carpet -- and so far I am very pleased with my new vacuum. The hardwood floor attachment wasn't great so I ordered the parquet twister and that made all the difference. I wish it had come as an option with my original purchase. The suction is amazing, it's very quiet and lightweight. Everything I need in a good cleaning assistant! I'd buy another however hoping this lasts me 20 yrs!

Great vacuum for pet hair. Quiet setting that I love because I live in a condo and don’t have to worry about disturbing neighbours when I vacuum. My rugs are so much cleaner.

Amazing little vacuum

I bought this Miele vacuum to replace a Dyson which had broken. I had heard good things about these lower end Miele C1 vacuums, but was skeptical. However, this little vaccum is far superior to the Dyson I had. The suction is far better and is adjustable via a dial on the back of the vaccuum - which is perfect when you want to switch between vacuuming something delicate like fabric blinds to something that needs some super suction, like and entry rug. The bag takes a reasonable amount of time to fill, despite its small size. A plus for the bags is no more dust flying around trying to empty the bagless Dyson cannister, but it is an additional cost having to re-buy bags. I mainly marked the Miele down a star because of the poor tool storage - the attachments are stored in a cheap little clip on at the base of the hose. Its easy to knock them off.
