I was told by my crawlspace service company that there could not be any mold in my crawlspace because the dehumidifier is doing it's job and the wood moisture content was below 10. An expert in crawlspace mold and odors suggested I get my own sample test kit to just see if the service company was correct. I took the advice and purchased this mold sample kit. You receive 12 petri dishes, gloves, cotton swabs for walls and surfaces, plastic bags and full instructions which includes mold identification photos and descriptions. You open the petri dishes, put in a space and let sit for an hour. Then follow the instructions for sample identification which takes 2 to 4 days. The best option for this sample kit is any additional identifying a mold sample that is not in the booklet is free. All you do is take a high quality photo and email it to the main office. I received my results, quickly. Other sample kits from the big box stores only has 1 or 2 petri dishes and charge you for identification which takes at least a week to receive any results. One price for this kit gives you 12 sample petri dishes and free results. Yes, I recommend this kit. Please note there are other size kits if you don't want 12 petri dishes.

Wish I could give this more than 5 stars! I’ve been having respiratory issues for a few months, so wanted to see if it was something in my environment. This kit is excellent value & so comprehensive! Everything you need is in the kit & all sterile. Full detailed & easy instructions too. I had no problem getting 6 samples, labeling them, sealing in bag & storing in warm dark closet. I was astonished that 3 days later I had several molds growing in the dishes! The kit comes with a handy identification guide with color photos & descriptions. However, I couldn’t quite identify the molds I had, so I followed the instructions & sent an email to the customer help attaching photos of the molds. 2 days later I received a friendly email from a staff member with a full report. Scott identified the molds giving the names, where you’d naturally find the mold, & any health issues they can cause. There is instructions in the guide, for how to remove different mold & bacteria. Scott said to contact them again if I had questions about that or anything else. I will be cleaning thoroughly now! Then will use the remaining 6 sterile sealed Petri dishes to test again after! If you’re thinking of buying this, do it. It really could help your health or your loved one’s health. So glad I bought this.

This kit came with all the necessary equipment to swab for mold as well as clear instructions. The agar plate growth did not match up with any pictures in the pamphlet, so I reached out to the recommended email. Within eight hours, I received a response with descriptions of what was on each agar plate photo I sent. This product is well worth the money and peace of mind.

Great product, better service. Easy to use to sample the indoor air quality in each room of your home and easily identifiable results via the book that comes with it. Even better, if you need help with the results like I did, just snap a photo and email the lab. They are quick to get back to you along with more information. Would recommend!

So easy to use with clear instructions and manual. I sent my photos in for analysis and they responded quickly and with great information. They told me what was mold and the kind, what was just bacteria, and what I should do. I moved into a new house and was worried about mold and this brought me so much peace of mind. I would 100% recommend.

Kits worked great! My suspicion of mold was correct according to what the results of the kit said. Hard for me ID the exact ones according to the guide it comes with, but I sent an email and they responded quickly with ID and tips to rid of it.

Using the Kayenqo mold test kit was easy and kind of fun, like a high school science project. The instructions that came with the kit are very easy to follow. I’ve tested with two dishes so far, swabbing the inside of a shower stall and testing the air in the same shower stall. I set the test dishes in a dark place for a few days, and when I checked back in on them, I had some nice fuzzy molds growing! I wasn’t sure what kind they were, but I sent photos to Kayenqo and they got back to me within a day or so with a full report. We’ve spent a lot more money on other types of mold testing. I wish we would have started with this kit.

This was the first time I've tested for mold in the house and I wasn't sure what to expect. i needn't have worried as the kit was very easy to use. The booklet/guide supplied with test kit (petri dishes) was excellent and easy to understand. I had to ask for help, though, as I couldn't identify all the mold in the petri dishes so contacted the company asking for help and included photos of the molds. I was delighted to get a reply next day with a brilliant and detailed report, explaining what the molds were etc. What a fantastic service!! I hope to do some repeat tests in the future and can highly recommend this product.

It is printed on high quality, glossy, thick photo paper with an even thicker cover. Keep this for your future and current testing guide. It has very good pictures (in colour) of what types of mold to look for when identifying the type of mold in your home/Petrie dish. Also in this kit are individual storage bags, cotton swabs, adhesive tape, even gloves! It comes with two air sealed bags containing 6 test kits/dishes in each. On the outside is a Reminder notice: Do not open the package when not in use. Store kit in a cool place to avoid exposure to sunlight. After sampling is complete, place the Petri dish in a sealed bag and wait 72 hours to check for mold. I love that they put the reminder right on the package and not just in the instruction manual! I have ADHD and honestly, I would’ve forgot that part even after reading the directions. So I love this little detail! It also comes with two sealed bags and a pair of medical disposable gloves inside! I will update my review once I get some results! Happy Testing!
