Purchased to replace the supposedly 4k cable from another brand as the previous one could not get 4k signal from the receiver to the projector consistently. This one had no issue.

I’m using this cable with my Denon AVR, LG TV and Apple TV 4K 2021 model. I have the video set to 4K HDR on the Apple TV (highest setting available) and the Audio Format to Auto, Atmos Available and everything works great. Picture quality is fantastic and the audio format switching on the AVR is working perfect. Atmos when available sounds great too. I’ve had no issues with this cable cutting out or getting too hot. This cable replaced my older Monoprice HDMI 2.0 cable.

Purchased the 49ft version to connect an Epson 4k LS12000 projector to a Denon receiver/Apple TV combo. Other similarly priced active optical cables have had HDMI dropouts with this setup. This cable has been totally clean in this regard and handles 4k 60fps with 4:2:2 chroma without issue. The build quality is good and was able to be pulled through 40 feet of conduit without being damaged thanks to the small head assembly and strain relief.

Lesson learned - test your HDMI cable first before running it 30+ feet to your projector. I've had good luck with Monoprice cables in the past so I didn't bother testing it out before taking the time to rout this back to my projector...big mistake. After my projector showed no input received from my AVR, I hooked the AVR up to a TV with this cable to test it out and the TV showed no signal as well. Based on the defective cable I received and the other bad reviews shown here, I definitely would not recommend buying this at all.

I wanted nothing more than the ability to do 4k at 60 Hz, and I got it. Happy with the cable.

Running 49ft cable from PS5 to TV. Getting 4k 120hz. The first cable was broken, don’t know if it was my fault or the cables. The second one works good for about a month now.

Works as advertised, the length and thinness of the cable is a marvel to behold. Crystal clear 4K hdmi signal at 100 feet.
The future is now.

I put this into a wall and it works great on my HDMI LG TV. I have three cables at 24 feet. Sood construction. Active cable seems to solve my connectivity issues I had using cheap cables at that distance.

Works as it should. The cable is directional. Source and TV have to go to the respective connections. From an Onkyo Nr809 receiver to a Epson 5030UB Projector. 3d works. device control over HDMI works. very thin compared to the cable it replaces. Lifetime warranty.

Works well. I've used Monoprice slim run active optical cables in the past. Buying from Amazon.ca made it easier than shipping direct from Monoprice across the border.
As for the cable itself, it works fine for 4K/60Hz. When it comes to connecting something over 10 or 15ft, active cables become necessary.

I have had great luck with Monoprice items in the past. They have always been high quality and a good value. That is why this review is out of the ordinary. I got this cable to connect my projector to my AV receiver. Since I have had it I have had issues with the video signal cutting out, but yesterday I confirmed it has been the cable all along. Now being a fibre cable you mustn't make any tight bends with it, and I have not done so. I'm not sure why this cable is causing issues, but it is the culprit. It is not that I would say 'do not order this', but more just be aware if your TV signal keeps dropping out and back in, you might have a bad Monoprice cable too. I wish I would have realized what the issue was when I was in the return period.
