Product Description
· An XLR to RCA cable converts a balanced audio signal into an unbalanced signal. · This is good for sending audio signals from an XLR source to an RCA input, or vice versa. Regardless of direction, the result will be an unbalanced signal. · The cable is made with two 16 AWG oxygen-free copper conductors, in a twisted-pair arrangement, and is shielded along the full length with copper braid with 97.5% coverage. · This cable uses the standard pinout with pins 1 and 3 of the XLR connector wired to the shield of the RCA plug and pin 2 of the XLR connector wired to the tip of the RCA plug.

The Monoprice Premier Series XLR to RCA cables are incredibly high quality, not only for the money, but for just about any reasonable price. The 16-gauge cables are heavy duty, but also very supple and pliable. I had no problems running the cables down and along the back of my computer desk. The cables are also dead silent, rejecting any noise or hum from my "rat's nest" of cables it shares the floor with. And both the XLR and RCA connectors are rugged and tight, providing a secure fit to both my powered speakers (XLR) and DAC (RCA). Highly recommended. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase.

I’ve been in the IT and AV industry going all the way back to my childhood. I used all the major brands of cabling - Hosa, Rapco, Monster etc. There’s a reason by I continually purchase Mono Price cabling for myself and for my professional environments. The product quality has never changed and that’s a good thing. Thick outter jackets, A+ quality materials and connectors and the peace of mind that if anything fails in one of my setups I know it won’t be because of subpar cables.

I was a little skeptical at first but this cable had really good positive reviews. I bought this to use for my Emotiva XPA-3 to an Onkyo receiver. My Emotiva amp has Balanced XLR connections. I was using an RCA cable and accidentally pulled on it, hard enough to where the connector came out on the Emotiva amp. It still worked fine but was pulled out enough to where it really concerned me and did not want to use that connection anymore since it was compromised. My Onkyo receiver did not have Balanced connections so I had to search for this cable. It works PERFECT. Sound is clear and concise. It is a VERY sturdy cable. Feels heavy duty. One thing I really like is that the RCA connector fits very very tight. Almost too tight where I have trouble taking it out lol Of course that is not a bad thing because I don't have to worry about it coming out by accident or anything. I would buy this cable again if I had too

Works so much better than RCA-RCA for connecting preamp outputs. Shorter is better of course. The soldering seems good, although internal wire (esp. cold wire) isolation looks somewhat weak. Modifiable at both ends if needed .(but of course would require competent soldering skills). Don't know in what universe this is a 16awg though. Gauge 20 at best, likely 22.

They are heavy duty, connectors feel solid and the cable it selfs it's thick but really really flexible, not like those cables that want to go back to their "rolled up" form. this cables just extends adapts nicely to the setup

Ive been using these for the last year, and theyve been working great. The RCAs are good quality and tight, and the wires themselves are thick.
