At this price point, my expectations were fairly low for the Mounting Dream MD2380 articulating TV wall mount bracket. Much to my surprise, this wall bracket is a robust, well engineered, quality piece that is on par with similar TV wall mounting brackets costing 3 or 4 times as much. The instructions are simple and clear, and the whole installation process is very straight forward. MD even includes a bonus bubble level, a braided 6' HDMI cord, and enough machine screws and spacers to fit the TV mounting brackets to practically any TV on the market. It took me a little over 20 minutes from opening the package to having my 55" 4K TV securely mounted to the wall. The unit is designed to allow you to adjust your TV to sit flat against the wall (with an approx. 3" space) or pull it over two feet from the wall for angling. When extended, the TV can be angled left or right up to 35 degrees and you can also adjust the vertical picture angle from +5 degrees to -15 degrees. An added bonus is the articulation makes it MUCH easier to add components to your TV at a later time. Flat wall mounts require you to remove the entire TV to access the back panels. The unit feels very sturdy and can be moved with a nominal amount of effort. The packaging says this wall mount is rated to hold up to 100 lbs., but when mounted properly, my guess is it could handle at least twice that weight with ease. I highly recommend this product and I am writing this review because I came back here to order two more for our other flat panel TVs. If you are going to buy this wall mount, and trust me, you won't regret it, read on for a brief primer on how to install it. Installation experience: Before opening the box, you will need a cordless drill/driver, a 3/8" drill bit, a measuring tape, pencil, a ratchet with a 12mm socket, a #4 phillip's head screw bit and a stud finder. The instructions say you can mount this bracket to sheet rock studs or cinder block, but not to straight sheet rock. Makes sense as even with sheet rock anchors, the bracket will eventually pull from the wall if the articulation function is used as intended. The first step is to locate what wall you want to mount the TV to and then use your stud finder to locate the studs that you will be anchoring the bracket to. I found that the easiest way to get a nice level mounting was to use the mounting template with the included bubble level. Once level, simply tape the template in place and then drill the four mounting stud holes right through the template. After removing the template, place the wall bracket against the wall, line up with one of the upper holes you just drilled and use your ratchet and socket to drive the first bolt in until it is almost tight. Leave some play so that you can align the other three bolts and do the same with each. When all four bolts are in place, go back and finish tightening them securely. Attaching the TV brackets is really easy with the plethora of machine screws and spacers included with the kit. Once the TV brackets are attached to the back of the TV, find an assistant (depending upon the weight of the TV - this will be a two person job) and place the TV on the wall bracket. You will here it click in place. There are two included screws at the bottom of the TV brackets which are used to lock the TV to the wall bracket. Make sure these are tightened so you can safely use the articulating feature. Plug in your cables, fire up the TV and Voila! You can now sit back and enjoy your TV from practically anywhere in the room with a perfect picture angle.

This was the easiest TV mount I've seen. Sturdy, clean design, and easy to adjust the TV just where you want it. Great for my new 55" TV.

This would get 5 stars if the back plate was about 18" wide instead of about 13". Why you might ask...Well, install instructions tell you to mount the four corners on wooden studs when mounting to dry wall. The problem is, in most residential constructions studs are 16" apart. This mean, if you want to stud mount you have to get creative. Fortunately the back plate has two holes dead center which I used to stud mount and then I used heavy duty mollies to secure the corners. This is not recommended or "suggested" in the mounting instructions and hardware to do this is not supplied. While I am not an engineer, I believe this is wholly adequate and unless someone hangs from the TV, it is not going to get ripped off the wall. That said, if you are not "handy" with these kind of things you might find the hanging instructions to be inadequate. The install hardware does allow for fine tune leveling but if you hung the mount level in the first place, you won't need to use this. That said, the mount works great. It is easy to articulate, forward, back as well as about 30 degrees left or right. There is also the ability to tilt the screen a few degrees forward. This can really help with minimizing reflection on the screen. Mounting issues aside, this is a great mount for the money...you should have no issues. PS - I am going to make the wires disappear after I mount the cabinet below the TV.

This mount came with everything I needed to mount my 60" semi-heavy TV. Your hardest job will be hitting the studs. As mentioned in a few reviews, the hooks on the part that attach to the TV are just wide enough to get onto the mount. Get someone to help and make sure both are seated fully before letting go. Once it's tightened on with the screw it's good to go! It fits, it'd just be possibly ideal if there was an inch or so more leeway to avoid that 'ok hopefully it's on right' moment as you slowly let it take the weight. It came with way more hardware than I personally needed for my specific TV, but I'm sure it's there for a reason! It's easily manoeuvrable and now I can tilt my TV to aim right at my workspace. Feels so cozy and DEFINITELY worth a few extra bucks vs one that can't swivel! The swivel system I'm sure means it's a little further from the wall. From the wall to the back of the TV is about 3", so if your TV is mounted up high or never needs adjusting, a simpler one should have a lower profile.

I am really pleased with this mounting kit and highly recommend it to anyone needing one for a 26-55" TV wall Mount. There are a few different kits available depending on the Wall Stud Distance and one or two arm mounts. I choose the two arm mount 16" Spacing kit. Like always shipping was free and really fast to my small remote town via Canada Post. Very pleased how fast it came. It was nicely packaged and when opening it, I found everything nicely labeled and packaged nicely. The instructions with the kit were really well done I feel, and easy to follow. Some of the Bonus Features I found were: 1) Included a really nice HDMI Cable 2) Includes Not Only a Wall Template but a small Bubble Level to connect to the wall template, but also a larger level for other leveling needs. 3)Contains handy velcro straps for cable mounting. Mounting the wall mount was pretty simple, I found where the studs were on the wall and marked them with a pencil, I then found the right position for my mount using my markings and the included template. It includes a small level you mount to the template and this allows you to get it nice and straight. I then predrilled the mount holes and removed the template. I was painting the wall, so did found the locations and predrilled holes before doing drywall repairs/painting, just in case. When the time came to mount the wall mount, I used the included lag bolts and put them into the wall studs I pre drilled earlier. You use the included larger level to get your wall mount just right and then tighten in the bolts. The kit comes with a good selection of bolts, spacers and washers to mount the mounting pieces to your actual TV. I found I needed longer bolts, but the spacers etc worked perfect. Just lift the TV up now and attach it onto the wall mount. Once on, tighten the lock screws and its on there good. You can then make the adjustments like tilt and any fine tune straightening. I really like how well this kits is made, and all the included things to make installation as simple as it could possibly be. Being able to pull the TV Away from the Wall and move at angles if we are out on the back deck is really handy and moves smooth. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone needing one, it really made installing my first TV wall mount a breeze and I feel comfortable with my TV hanging on it.

We have a 50" Sony flatscreen that was on a stand. We needed a mount but our budget held back the right purchase. I bought the mount with little consideration because it fit the bill at under $50 and had the features I needed from a wall mount. The kit was incredibly easy to install, and the added tools that come with the mount made it a mistake-proof solution. The mount has very forgiving adjustments that allow you to level the TV slightly after installation. After several months of use the arms are holding up perfect, everything works well, and the amount of TV movement and panning is just incredible for the price. The only problem that I'm now realizing is cable management. When I return the arms from a very far extension or pan, I have to watch the cables that run to my sound bar and other items above the TV. I risk pinching cables.
