I live in a small apartment and cook for myself. Recently I started eating healthy food only to find that I have a new hobby associated with healthy food. Meal planning, shopping and preparing fresh vegetables. I picked up a do all vegetable whiz gadget at my local supermarket only to discover it couldn’t do anything except take up counter space. I went to Amazon and bought this model because it’s small but well designed and rated “buy me!” It’s designed dice and slice all the stuff I have tried so far. I can’t wait to make sweet potato fries I love them! The machine works really well and it’s easy to use and clean. The blades are very sharp so I don’t recommend children using them without supervision.

Love this chopper. It is convenient, and quick. I love the options it gives for chopping, shredding, etc. My favorite is the small and larger cube sizes one can use to chop potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and even tomatoes. I was shocked to see the tomatoes cut up nicely into cubes, rather than getting smashed. Perfect for making salsa, or to add small cubed tomatoes to a salad. I used it for making my soups and it saved so much time and made the soup look very uniform. When doing potatoes I slice the potato into several wedges, the thickness I would want to make the cubes, then place the wedge on the grid slicer and press the lid down. Do the same thing with carrots. It is so easy that my grandchildren like to help. Of course it is a little noisy when the lid slams shut but nothing like an electric chopper. The grids are very sharp so be careful. Onions pieces get caught in the grid on the lid but they are easily removed with a small comb-like tool that they include, along with a brush. Easy to clean. The different graters, grids, etc are easy to interchange. This was well worth buying.

I really like it. I just don't like how the veggie pieces get stuck in the grid at times, other than that, it gets the job done very quickly and easily. Beats all of that cutting, chopping and dicing by hand or having to pull out that big food processor. If anything ever happens to this one, I'm buying another one. I gave 4 stars only because I wish it had a larger bowl to catch the veggies.

Had a cheaper style chopper than was difficult to use and clean. This one went on sale and I bought it on a wing and a prayer. It is SO easy to use and clean!! No more bruised wrist , no more tedious picking between the tines on the lid (other cheap version of this excellent model). I was literally hunting for things to chop! And it came with so many options to use as a mandolin, can't wait to play with my food lol.

I have a weird allergy to uncooked vegetables and fruits so cutting them with a knife by hand was awful for me! Then I found this slicer and it is a game changer! To chop potatoes, onions and broccoli for the soup, it would take a few hours by myself but this chopper it cut the time down by half! Plus my kids can use it! (Age 12 and 16) I save so much time and energy and it's safer for me because I don't have to worry about juices coming back at me. It's a must have now in my kitchen. The slicers are sharp and hold in place well. Very safe design and easy to clean. It comes with a cleaning brush too which is helpful! There are lots of slice options for different things you want to make, a well designed sturdy catch tray at bottom plus it doesn't take up much space in the cabinet. I highly recommend! Save yourself some time and energy! Get this product and love cooking again.

I was skeptical at first about this product. I was thinking for the price, it should be doing more than just chopping. But it changed everything when I started using it. IT WAS REALLY HELPFUL when it comes to chopping my veggies for empanada. The blades are sharp! It was easy to use, easy to clean and really, it made all my cutting jobs a lot quicker! I wouldn't go back to chopping my veggies the way I was doing it before I found these! The price may be a bit high but you are paying for the quality. Highly recommended. I use them often and it has become one of my BFF in the kitchen!

Play Video This is an incredible advance on another onion chopper I purchased which had a fundamental design flaw which meant it broke after relatively little use. This product however is superbly designed and is in my view just about the best kitchen appliance I have used, it's that good. There are so many little design elements that you notice that all add up to a flawless product. It does exactly what it says it's meant to do and with such aplomb it brings a smile to the face of everyone that uses it. It's almost impossible to imagine not using this and I am someone who actually enjoys chopping and preparing food such as onions. That's probably enough of the superlatives, go out and buy yourself one, you will never regret it.
