I noticed an instant different when I changed from my old router to this new nighthawk. It took less than 5 minutes to set up. The app is super helpful and has a lot of great features to keep up on the connection and devices connected. I can work from home, stream a movie for my toddler, and my husband game all at the same time with no lag at all. I highly recommend and am so happy we can use the internet speed we are paying for.

Excellent product. Works perfectly. The range is great, can pick it up throughout the house. Internet speeds are strong and fast. Also love the security features.

If you have an existing router and it's just not doing what you expected (even if you paid a ridiculous amount of money for it), replacing it with this one is a snap. It took me all of 15 minutes to physically connect to ethernet, set up the router through the app, rename, unplug the old router, and I was up and going. Very simple. Just named the new router the same as the old one with the same password and all my devices seamlessly reconnected with the exceptional speed I should have been getting from fiber optic. It's got a smaller footprint, less breakable antennae, though not as many ethernet ports. I'm okay with that because I have a hub. 10/10 recommend this device for surfing, gaming, browsing, Echo/Alexa use, video surveillance cameras, and so much more.

I’m embarrassed to say we had a very old firewall router that was “not going to be serviced” anymore starting this year. At the same time, I’m texting my husband telling him our internet company is the worst because it’s as slow as dialup and I couldn’t even watch a video on my phone without it buffering! After we finally put two and two together, we bought this thing, it came same day! and it is amazingly fast and reliable!!! Easy set up and we regularly get 800-900mbps in the living room where we used to get 140mbps and 300mbps in the far back of the house in our bedroom where we used to get zero. I did have to learn why we randomly get 600mbps in the living room and 140mbps in the back of the house due to busy internet usage times by neighbors, but other than that, this thing has been outstanding.

Plug and play! This Router was very easy to set up and I am back in business with full coverage over my whole home! The speeds are fast! I very much like that is sends me a notification when ever a new device connects to the network! App is straight forward and very easy to use! Over 5 out of 5 from me.

My house house is configured weirdly. The only cable inlet is on the first floor. I couldn’t get a consistently strong WiFi signal in the upstairs bedrooms. I tried a TP-Link and it didn’t really help. So I decided to try this. Since I’ve connected it, I haven’t had a single dropped connection. It wasn’t that expensive, it looks well made and most importantly, it just works. The only downside is, I couldn’t figure out a way to set it up without a Netgear account. So that might be mandatory.

I'm very happy with the router as a router. Using the app the installation was very easy. My download speed increased from 90 Mps with the old Netgear Router to 590 Mps with this one. Problem is that I cannot get ReadyShare to work. Talked to multiple technicians at Netgear and no one had an answer. Readyshare on this router works fine with 3 other PCs that were previously connected to my old router. I have a new HP PC that will not connect. I can't be the first person that this has happened to but technical support doesn't have a clue.

It took me some time to pull the trigger, but I'm very happy with my decision to go with the RAX54S. Setup was extremely simple, signal levels were improved over my last router and my network performance issues, general instability and over crowding, were solved. The reasonable price was also a factor, it's a great value! We don't do any gaming, but routinely have video streaming to 3 or 4 different devices without any issues. I also work from a home office on occasion and my company VPN connection is very stable.
