The colors are super fun for the kiddos. It is light as can be and won't strain their wrists. The battery life is beyond amazing. I've left mine out into he cold for a week and it still has battery. This is so easy to use and navigate the store for new books. The speed is a bit slow when shopping, but it isn't so bad I can't handle it or that it loses my kids attention. I have thrown and tossed this thing around and it doesn't have so much as a scratch on it. If you're thinking about buying it, it is worth it and do it. The build of it is perfect for children and indestructible.

I am very happy with my purchase. It is everything that I was hoping for. I was able to easily download my adult books and is simple to use. In addition it comes with a cover and 2 yrs warranty. Well worth the price.

The title boasts "ad-free books" - but, as you can't tell unless you scroll to the very bottom of the product page, that doesn't apply if you leave the Kids section. This is deceptive: unlike other Kindles, this isn't offered up front with/without special offers. It felt like a bait and switch when Customer Service told me I'd have to pay another $20 to actually get rid of ads.

I like that the Kindle will fit in my purse, very functional. I like that this Kindle comes with a case, 2 year worry free warranty and 6 month Kid Kindle Unlimited subscription. I wish it didn’t have ads on it.
