I love love love my ice maker!! After shopping online and in-store for several months, I decided on this machine. It’s smaller than many I’ve seen and perfect for smaller spaces and/or limited countertop areas. I was looking for something that wouldn’t clutter my countertop; this is perfect. The size along with its self-cleaning feature were the primary reasons I chose this one over others. It’s easy to use and maintain. I’m the only person in my house who needs a constant source of ice so I only make ice every other day. Yet, it’s great when I need more or have guests. It makes ice quickly, and the cubes are the perfect size for cocktails on the rocks. I immediately freeze what I’m not using. This machine is not a refrigerator, so it’s important to freeze the ice right away, otherwise, you’ll be stuck with a bunch of ice cubes frozen together. Also, the machine isn’t too loud or disruptive. If you’re on a budget, your wallet will appreciate this purchase. I snatched it up quickly when the price dropped, but I honestly wouldn’t have any complaints about paying more. I recommend.

This pebble ice maker is a game-changer! It produces the perfect, soft, chewable ice just like the kind you get at fancy restaurants or drive-thrus. The ice comes out quickly, and the machine keeps up even during gatherings. It’s a little noisy but nothing to be concerned about, and doesn’t take up too much counter space. Setup was super easy, and I love that it refills automatically, so I never run out of ice. If you're an ice lover, this is 100% worth it. No more ice tray struggles or trips to the store for bags of ice—this little machine does it all! Highly recommend!

Works as needed its just a little loud. Ice melts and then it makes more ice from the melted ones so its almost constantly running

This little soldier cranks out ice all day as need. I use only filtered water and the ice is very good. I had a Home brand icemaker that lasted a year. Replaced it with. Watch for the red low water light. I don't know how much water it holds but it's enough to last me a day and a half before needing refilled. Compact size is great. I clean mine every two weeks and this one is light enough to wrangle in the sink. Very satisfied.

When we got a new refrigerator the ice maker wasn't included, and the kit that went to that model had terrible reviews. I decided to go with a countertop ice maker instead and got this one when it was on sale. So far, it works great. I waited 3 hours after unboxing to allow the oil to settle, cleaned the basket and wiped out the inside. After filling the compartment with water and turning it on, it spit out the first round of ice in around ten minutes. (I threw this first batch away just to be safe.) It was amazing to me how much ice I got for the amount of water I put in! Every couple of rounds of ice, I would empty the basket into a container in the freezer and did this until it was full. The ice did stick together some, but was pretty easy to break apart. Once it was finished, I emptied the remaining water from the ice machine (there's a plug on the bottom of the machine that you pull out to drain it into a bowl) and dried the inside. I plan on using this machine about every two days based on our current ice usage. I've seen some people saying they keep the machine going 24/7. I also see some people complaining about the machine dying in less than a year. I don't know for sure that those two things are related, but I imagine keeping it running constantly isn't the best idea. At the quick rate that it creates ice, I'm also not sure why you would do that. Keep making ice until you have the amount you need, then drain and dry it for next time. I imagine it will last far longer this way. I'll keep using it in this manner and update this review when it finally dies to let you know how long it lasted using this method. UPDATE: Well, it died. Lasted from July 2023 until December 2024, so around a year and a half. Honestly, we took really good care of it and only used filtered water, so it's a biiiiiit disappointing that it already quit working. It worked well and made a lot of ice for the year and a half it worked, so I suppose it's up to you to judge if this sounds worth it to you! I wouldn't count on it lasting longer than this, though.

We are ice crunchers; all 3 of us in our household. My Mother-In-Law loves ice and so do I, so we were purchasing a ton of bagged ice from the local convenient store. This can really add up! We have a refrigerator ice maker/dispenser but our town has super, hard water and the ice just doesn't taste good, so we've been buying bagged ice for quite awhile. Saw this little ice maker for sell and for the price, we thought it would actually pay for itself after a couple of days so we ordered it. We've had it since this past summer and it has been running basically non-stop ever since. We do use a filter pitcher for the water we put in the machine. I don't know the consistency of the ice just using straight tap water but the ice from the filter pitcher comes out as a "soft" ice, which we all really like. It is a small machine and has a small basket. It has an indicator light that tells when the basket is full and ready to be emptied. It makes the ice pretty fast so doesn't take long to fill the basket up. The ice is soft enough that we simply empty it into our refrigerator ice maker bucket and dispense out of the ice dispenser. It has a setting for self cleaning that works great and a small plug that can be pulled out on the bottom of the machine to drain the water after the cleaning cycle is finished. I simple take a light, soapy rag and wash out the water tank and then rinse it out with clear water and it's ready to "fire" up again for more ice. It has paid for itself over and over again. May have to invest in a larger ice maker down the road but this was a perfect machine to test out first. It is portable so if you want to take it with you in an RV, Cabin, Camping, Tailgate Party, it would actually be a nice addition to these activities too!
