Update! On Linux, you can use Cameractls to control the camera. The presets do not work great, or there's some trick I don't know, but you can manually control PTZ, color / brightness / resolution etc. If you are using the preview, or it's actively sending signal to Discord or OBS etc, it will not go to sleep. Using this on PopOS Cosmic (Linux) with Gnome (Wayland) and it works fine. Seriously, no 3rd party software required for hand gestures to work right away. The USB C cable had a USB A adapter attached, don't need it for my system but certainly handy for others. The video is crisp, excellent light and focus. Zoom just works. The only issue I perceive is if you aren't moving around enough for a few minutes it may get bored and go to sleep on you. This might be something you can manage with settings

Such an amazing video quality with great precision of following the face and it is so in size that it is very very portable. I highly highly recommend recommended and it is totally worth it 👍

I just got this one today and it was very easy to install. The image is very good and there is a lot of flexibility. I had just bought the new Insta360 Link2C but the installation was not a good experience and ended up not working to use their Insta360 Controller software. I had to return as I was not able to make it work, even after trying to chat with their support. They asked me for logs and asked me to send to repair it, but how can I do that with a product that I just received ??? No way. I gave a try to this Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite and I am amazed with the experience. It has 1080 60fps and hopefully they will update their firmware to accept 4K 60fps in future. The Insta Link 2C does not have 60 fps, but they are promising for a future firmware. Anyway. I am glad with the experience so far.

We finally pulled the trigger and bought one of these and I have to say, I am glad that we did. The resolution is great, the AI tracking is a nice feature that does exactly what you need it to do, you know, actually track your movement. What surprised me was the actual size of the device, as it quite literally fits in the palm of my hand. Granted, my hands are bigger, but, for what this camera does and the size it does it in, this thing is pretty amazing to say the least. Do what we did, pull the trigger and buy one, you will not be disappointed.

I've had this webcam for a few months now, and feel I can review my experience with it. YMMV, but with my setup (Ryzen 5 5600x, 32GB DDR4, 2x 1TB Samsung SSDs, NVIDIA RTX 3060Ti), I've had mostly smooth performance from this little guy. It's TINY! Pictures make this thing out to be the size of a zoom lens for a DSLR, but it's slightly bigger than a D-cell battery. The threaded attachment point for stands, tripods, etc. works very well for my setup; I added a Neewer pole-style clamp mount to my desk that firmly holds the camera in place. As the base of the camera folds clamshell-style, it was easy to position the camera exactly where I want. The software is super handy for changing any OOTB configuration, such as default image settings and PTZ position. There is a virtual camera option that is SUPER handy, as it allows you to use the camera (via selecting the virtual cam) in multiple apps at the same time. I do wish the software were a bit lighter, seems to use some GPU/CPU cycles, but it's pretty responsive and unobtrusive. Image quality: very, very good! I'm coming from a Microsoft LifeCam HD-5000 with a max output of 1280x720@30fps. I'm used to very poor low-light performance, FPS and shutter speed dropping to a smeared mess. This camera performs exceptionally well in low-light, though I'd recommend staying at 1080p@30 or 720p@30 if you want the best performance. Mic: Haven't really used it much, I actually have it disabled via the OBSBOT Center, but it worked well enough when I tried it! Stuttering/frame drops: I've switched USB ports, ensured the camera was on it's own USB bus, and have updated the firmware and software, but I can't shake the random frame drops I'm seeing at just about any output resolution/FPS. It's random, sometimes just a blip, sometimes a string of dropped frames, but it appears to be between the OS and the camera; I don't think it's the sensor having issues. I can mostly get away from it using 720p@30, but still occasionally happens. Mind you, this did not happen with my HD-5000 camera. It could be that because this camera uses USB2.0 and MJPEG for most resolutions, there's a bandwidth constraint or issues with the encoding, but it happens regardless of using the cam directly vs virtual driver, and regardless of software running. I'm working with it for now, it certainly could be something on my computer, but all other USB devices are fine and no issues with performance on my system. I do recommend this camera for sure, it's a solid value and the AI-based tracking is excellent!

Easy install. It works right when plugged-in. Very clear image. Not sure how to control the zoom in, zoom out function but it does do it. Sound is solid.

Play Video I was initially impressed with this little camera. The image quality was good and the face tracking worked well. Unfortunately, the gimbal motors went completely crazy when the camera was not being used. I was just using the computer and started hearing a weird noise. I looked up and saw the camera was twitching every which way. I only had it a couple of weeks so I returned it and bought another type of camera.

I'm delighted and amazed at how good this little thing is. It's almost like calling it a "webcam" was a disservice. The OSBOT goes way beyond the concept of a webcam, It's a 4K camera with a gimbal that will do magic to follow you almost anywhere you move. Zooms, pans, can be set vertically or horizontally in a snap, you can define zones to focus on and program shortcuts to focus on them, and have motion control and hand gestures. It plays well with OBS and Zoom (has Virtual camera mode). It's like having a cameraman in front of you. The build quality is excellent, the lens is crisp and even the software is great and very customizable. As soon as I got mine I ordered a second one. Is very impressive! This has been probably my happiest buy (most bang for my bucks) in 2024. Go grab yours!
