I had a previous version of this and it worked great. This one is warm too. Good quality and durable. Held up to 4 winters of ironwork in Chicago. True fit.

I have been battling cancer for two years and am cold all the time. My wife on the other hand keeps the house at 67 degrees because she’s too hot. So I put a heavy T shirt on , then the vest, then a flannel shirt. The shirt holds the heat in. It’s wonderful. Toasty. Too hot at maximum, so I keep it medium. Battery lasts about 6 hours. I have second battery. I highly recommend this vest.

Bought this for watching my daughter play winter soccer season in Northern California. It heats up quickly and the battery lasts more than the length of the game. It's been so popular that I've bought more as gifts for family. I bought mine to fit snuggly and closer to my bottom layer and then can put a rain jacket over it if needed.

Got the jacket and wore it to a football game in the snow. Jacket worked find and kept my upper body warm. Only issue is the AC plug adapter to charge the battery. When it was removed from the wall socket the plug came apart leaving half of it in the AC outlet. Fortunately I noticed it before my wife or anyone else and was able to safely remove it. Pretty dangerous situation if there had been any small kids around to possibly get shocked.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband a few years ago. He's an avid hunter and he uses this to duck hunt in. He wears it under his waders and only has to turn it on low for a few minutes and then turns it off and because it is so well insulated that it keeps him nice and toasty. He gets too warm if he leaves it turned on for too long. The battery life is great and will last him all day. He keeps a portable battery charger in his pocket in case of emergencies but has never had to use it. It is a good quality and well worth the price. It's thick enough to keep you warm without being bulky and is very easy to use. My son even liked it so much that I had to get him one as well.

I keep the temperature in my apartment low because I have inefficient baseboard heating. Electric bill can get very expensive during the late fall, and winter. I wear this vest inside without the heating elements turned on. When I do have to go outside, I fire the heating elements up and am toasty warm. Once back inside I can shut the heating elements off and still stay warm. I would recommend this to anyone in my situation.

Play Video The vast is a lot puffier than I thought it would be, I definitely noticed it was thicker once I put something over it like a hoodie, other than that it's awesome, I do need a second battery for it the battery life on high heat is definitely not long enough so if you get one definitely recommend a second battery or two if you can afford it at the time, I do feel like the heat coils could be spread out a little bit more but at the same time it works perfectly fine as is, if you're wearing just the vest it'll keep you warm, if you're wearing something over the vest it'll heat you up and then you'll start to sweat because the heat will stay inside whatever you're wearing over the top 😁 I looked at the Milwaukee heated vest before buying this one and I wasn't a big fan of the battery that was on it to power it so and so forth and after wearing this one yeah the battery is kind of bulky and square but I love that it's placed on your side instead of on your back or in your front pocket so definitely enjoy the battery replacement. Highly recommend this product haven't had any issues with it but if it's style isn't for you there are other options, I look forward to the day where I can test more Ororo items Oh side note, I wore this vest under a hoodie while riding my motorcycle, it kept me fairly warm to the point I wasn't freezing in 34 to 40° weather at 40+mph, so I can verify it is very viable under a coat while on a motorcycle

I am posting the image of the temperature settings. Low is at 100 degrees F - just about at normal body temp. Medium at 113 degrees F - one can barely feel the heat. High is very nice and cozy at 131 degrees F. I wanted to see how long the high setting would last. Admittedly I did not go into the cold to test it but we keep our house at 68 degrees F. A fully charged battery lasted me six hours on high. The fit was perfect as I have a 36 inch waste and usually wear a large shirt. My chest is 42 inches. It worked better when I took off my sweater that was initially worn underneath the vest then put the vest back on. Then I put a windbreaker on top of the vest to keep from soiling it and to keep the tags from getting caught in something. They warn you to leave the tag on else it would not be accepted should you return it. I especially liked the warmth around my neck but also appreciated the heat on my shoulder blades. The front pockets were not nearly as warm but they were warm. After awhile the heat is retained and I could have cycled down to the medium setting but I wanted to see how long the high setting would last. It took me less than eight hours to get the full charge indicator lights. I did buy an extra battery to have so when the battery needs recharging (about six hours to recharge) I could then swap out every six hours or so without having to wait in the cold for recharge to complete. The battery did not seem to be too heavy and the weight was not a problem as I didn't notice any drag or discomfort. Overall it was a very comfortable vest and I look forward to using it in my unheated garage or on walks. No complaints! I hope it lasts as I plan to take good care of it.

If you are living in a winter climate, this vest makes night time dog walks, shovelling and sitting in cold arenas SO much more comfortable! The warming unit in the neck/collar is KEY!! This makes a world of difference to your overall experience. You don't realize how much you tighten your shoulders and neck to brace against the cold until they are warm!! If you have a tight neck/shoulders, make sure you get a product that has a warming unit in the collar. Three heat settings give you some versatility - the high is pretty warm - you won't want more than that. The vest was more attractive looking than expected. You can legit wear this around and it looks like a nice vest. The cut is slim. 6ft, 175lbs, slim build male - ordered a men's medium. FItted - especially through the hips, but this is the fit desired as the intention was to always wear it under another jacket. Would recommend going for a fitted size as you lose some of the benefit of the warmers if you are layering under the vest. But note that it is a very straight fit, so if your hips are wider, it might be tight. HIGHLY recommend this product. Only one complaint - the battery unit that goes in the hip pocket is not small. Given the size of tiny cell phone chargers out there, I was surprised that this power unit had to be this large. - eg., like a wide deck of cards. It also sits right on the curve of your body from side to front - need to wiggle it to lay flat on your front. Does add a little bulk if the next layer you put on top is fitted at all. But you get used to this and work around it - otherwise good value, nice looking and great warmth! Just to note when you are shopping - other products may appear to be significantly cheaper, but you have to buy the power pack on top of that - so you still end up paying a fair amount - just search for a good quality, all included product from the start.

I did a bit of research on heated vests and was planning to get the cheaper brands on the $60 to $80 range but the reviews for those were hit and miss. I looked at eWool heated jackets but they start at $500 and are mainly for outdoor use in extreme winter conditions. My wife's co-worker bought an Ororo heated vest and had mainly positive things to say about it so I figured I would give it a shot since I'm usually cold at work and just cold in general. I have an under-active thyroid and one of the symptoms is cold intolerance. The heating zones are just right to warm up my core and hands in the pockets and the back zone is big enough to cover most of my back. The collar heater is not as hot as the other parts but is just right given that your neck can be very sensitive. I usually have the heat on the blue setting after the 5 minute warm-up period when you first activate the heat. The battery is a bit bulky but I don't really think about it much when I have it zipped up. The trade-off with a lighter battery would be shorter heat time but I think the roughly 8 hours is fine the way it is if I use the heat for most of a workday. I like the fact that it uses the newer USB Type-C connector to charge the battery. Since I've been wearing it at work, people do stare at the power button since it lights up in flashing red when it warms up and in the 3 heat settings of solid red (high heat), white (medium), and blue (low). When you wash the jacket, just follow the instructions and remove the battery and then put it in a mesh laundry bag and use a gentle/delicates wash cycle in cold water. I let mine dry over a period of 3 days in a very warm closet. Update 12-19-2019: For sizing help, I bought a medium and I'm 5'9" and 150lbs and it fits almost perfectly. Almost a year later and I've been using mine a lot now that it's fall/winter. I also use it at the rink while watching my kid skate for an hour at each practice session (twice per week) and I don't need to wear my full winter coat. I do wear a hoodie underneath this vest but mainly to cover my arms. Otherwise, the only thing that gets cold are my toes so now I'm looking at heated shoes!

I originally purchased this vest in a XXL based on consumer reviews. It was too bulky so it would prob let the heat out. The return process was simple! 1st time I ever had to return anything from Amazon. A return label was provided that I just had to print out on my printer. Packed everything back into the box and dropped it off at the post office. Somehow they knew it was in transit and my return was processed before they actually physically received the return. Very impressed with that. I then ordered the XL. It said it was going to be delivered a day after I left town for work. I was a little disappointed with that. Luckily to my surprise it arrived 3 days early! Tried it on and it fits perfectly! I charged the battery fully before trying out the heat and wow does it heat up quick and it gets HOT! The heated collar is amazing! I just wish the heated pocket really heated up the whole pocket. It’s not a deal breaker or anything but would def make this vest absolutely perfect. You will have to have your hand pressed up against your body to get some heat on the palms of your hands. Overall I’m truly happy with this purchase. I will update if there are any problems going forward. If you don’t see anything know this vest is the bomb and go get yourself one! You won’t regret it! For help with sizing I’m 6’4” around 225-230lbs And I got the XL. The pic shows how it fits.

This is lightweight and holds the heat beautifully. I love to be outdoors but get cold and this one makes it a pleasure to be outside. It's great under a lighter jacket, but under the winter jacket is unbearably hot and bulky. I let the battery recharge overnight, so I don't know how quickly to recharges, but it's great for a daily walk for about a week. Or a cold photography evening/night in winter. Between heated gloves and this, I am really very happy.

I've easily spent over $3000 on heated jackets due to a health episode I was facing. All products have one of the following broad issues; 1) they use cheap (and sometimes toxic) material and heating methods creating harmful issues, 2) cheap material causing a lot of sweat, 3) not easily washable , 4) terrible style, or 5) doesn't get hot enough. Having said that I love my ORORO jacket! It looks great, it feel amazing, it is stylish and well-made. But the most important part is the heating part: so the heating method is perfect, it doesn't use harmful materials, it is adjustable, the battery life is long, and it is machine washable. The only part you must be aware of is to ensure that you get an original jacket. Just be aware.
