I’m a busy retired guy and don’t have time to write reviews. Except for THIS one. I don’t get paid in any way for anything. i’ve used lots of other cups before - steel, plastic, thermos, etc. they’re all ‘okay’. This one is beyond GREAT and i just bought another one to replace older plastic cups. It’s beautiful to look at - it’s got a nice little indented ridge in front for your thumb to help with the grip. The overall shape is aesthetically pleasing and is shaped to fit the hand superbly. i didn’t think i’d use the straw feature (never had a built-in straw before), but it’s the best part of the cup - combined with the fact that there is a gulp-spout built-in right behind the straw-feature. the straw is designed to stay in place, (so you can always sip or gulp), and the straw is made of high quality ‘plastic’, is easily removable for washing and snaps right back into place. The heavy duty carrying loop snaps forward to lock the container down, or snaps back to be used as a sturdy handle. My cup holds some 20oz, and the top snaps open by a press of a very secure button. You won’t accidentally pop it open. Also, the top is very well (precision-machine) constructed, and features a replaceable gasket to keep the seal (hot or cold) in. Surprisingly, it keeps things cool - or hot* - for a very long time. I filled it with refrigerated water and it was still cool 4 hrs later, (probably much longer than that but i drank it all after that, so don’t know’). *(Manufacturer recommends NOT using for HOT liquids), but aside from the straw, i don’t see why not, but i’m not suggesting you should!) It fits my car’s cup holder just fine. I rate this a 5 of 5 for all the reasons above - it’s also extremely well built and not ‘cheap’ in any way. I hope you will love it as much as i do!

This water bottle is the perfect size for everyday use. our kids take it to school, sports, car trips. Love the sip or pour spout. Wished Owala sold replacement lids as the generic ones on Amazon are not up to owala standards. We have cracked one spout lid over the past 3 years but very very durable with 4 boys. Keeps drink very cold easy to clean. Love the all white color

These are by far our favorite bottles! We love the sip/chug option and that they keep ice all day, but most of all we love that these NEVER LEAK!!! Each family member has at least two of their own size and color, so we can tell them all apart easily.

I've had a lot of different vacuum insulated water bottles -- hydroflask, swell, ecovessel, Coleman, kambukka and various generic ones. The ecovessel is the best for insulation, but I don't like the screw off cap. I really liked the Coleman push button to drink, but cleaning was a pain. I really didn't like the hydroflask straw cap, and my recent hydroflask seems a lot lighter and less well made than my 10 year old hydroflask. I don't like the narrow opening of the swell. The kambukka leaks. The Owala is a brilliant design. I use the straw function a lot more than I thought. So far it is great.

I bought this bottle for my mom for her birthday and she has used it almost everyday. It keeps anything very cold all day and for days after, you can put anything in it and is very portable Only bad thing is that it does not fit in car cup holders

I absolutely love my Owala water bottle! I was in the market for a new one, and now I already have two. The built-in straw is super convenient, but I also love that you can switch to waterfall mode. The handle is a great bonus, making it easy to carry. It’s durable, functional, and I take it everywhere. Highly recommend!

Best water bottle, leakproof, keeps water cold for 24hr+. I take it everywhere. Have bought multiple colors for other family members.

I was going to return this because it didn't fit in my car cup holder and it was larger than I expected but I have fallen in love with the straw and chug lid combo! I hate straws and have never liked the straw in my Stanley. This lid is so cool with both an internal straw and chug lid in one. I haven't had any issues with the straw coming detached and I love that it can be closed to keep it clean and that it is leakproof! I wish it was a little narrower so I could hold it easier but it does have a handle in the lid that is easy to carry that way.

Great product, well insulated and exceptional variety of mouth pieces to support sipping, drinking and pouring etc. Well constructed with good choice of colors. Also BPA free.

This is the best bottle I’ve ever had and I’m definitely going to keep purchasing when this one inevitably breaks! It keeps my water cold all day and it has never leaked. It’s also just such a cute design.

Best waterbottle. straw sip function as well as pour function is so good. easy to clean. doesn't bother me that the bottle canister can't go in dishwasher because that part is easy to clean. I'm glad the top parts are dishwasher proof as they would be fiddly to clean by hand.
