I couldn’t be happier with the Philips Series 3300 Fully Automatic Espresso Machine! It has completely transformed our morning routine. From lattes to cappuccinos to iced drinks, this machine makes everything at the touch of a button. The LatteGo milk system is a standout feature—it froths milk perfectly and is incredibly easy to clean, which I love because it saves so much time. The ceramic grinder ensures the coffee tastes fresh every single time, and the AquaClean filter means less maintenance, which is a huge plus. I also appreciate how quiet it is—thanks to the SilentBrew technology, I can enjoy my coffee without worrying about waking the family during those early mornings. Not only does it work flawlessly, but it also looks sleek on our coffee bar, adding a touch of elegance to our setup. If you’re a coffee enthusiast or just want café-quality drinks at home, this machine is worth every penny. Highly recommend!

This is the fourth "super" espresso machine I have owned over the last 20 years and all were similar regarding features. So, I have some experience to base my review on and I may get a little preachy in the process. I can honestly say that this is by far the best machine I have owned. I roast my own beans and the Philips machine does full justice to the bean I strive to get a good flavor profile from when roasting. My previous machines were all "good" or "good enough". But, this machine is excellent for producing a very satisfying cup. I say all this with one caveat - any machine, regardless of price, can't make a bad bean better. Don't waste your money if you are not going to either home roast or source your beans from a reputable roaster. Find a local roaster or check out Sweet Maria's, Peet's, and other online sources. While I usually just do a straight cup or two in the morning, having the frother for Cappuccino or Macchiato is a plus when having guests come by. It's so simple! The other things I really appreciate about this machine are first, the much improved noise control from the grinder. Second, the very efficient extraction process. I am using 40-50% less beans than my previous machines and getting a vastly better cup. And lastly, I like having the ability to pre-set defaults for water temp, etc. It's not something you have to do, but it's there if you want it. If you decide to buy one, do yourself a favor and buy a set of the double walled, clear glass coffee cups. They are great for any drink when using the frother. It really enhances the visual experience, keeps your drink hot, and your guests will appreciate them.

If you are like me search the plethora of super automatic espresso makers, this one certainly will make the list. At least it made mine (sort of). I mean what is not to like? It is feature packed, small compared to other super automatics and it does make a pretty good cup. However, out of the box and brewing your first up, it’s certainly not going to be what you hoped for. For example as stated in the instructions you need to run a large number of brews through it before everything breaks in. And so I did. In fact, you can see the progress of how well it’s brewing due to the packedness and look of the brewed coffee pucks. Brewing a cup is easy, it’s pretty fast compared to others and it’s quiet too. I guess the previous model made. It more noise grinding. Here, it’s very quiet yet you still have the robotic whirring of the mechanics switching and preparing each puck. Although the love affair was short lived. This was not due to the quality of the beverage made but the result of the mess the machine made. As others reported for the 3200 model, it leaks. In fact water pours out the bottom onto the counter top and if you are not wise to this, the water lands on the floor. Now the leaking is not because the water tray is full, clogged or what have you. Rather it is from the inside of the unit during the brew cycle. And the funny thing is, the water never goes in the tray. In other words it’s coming from something further back in the unit (not the water tank either as the leaked water feels “very warm”). Lastly, the unit was not more than three weeks old, I have now returned it for a refund. I really wanted to like this, I really did. For the price point, size and beverage quality it was spot in. But to have a failure this new in its life cycle, I was not looking to risk further failures later down the road. It’s sad and hopefully this design flaw is addressed as I believe it will be a great product….. someday. If you are thinking like I did and see this as a great beverage maker, just beware of the leak because over time it seems to get worse. Yet, maybe yours will run flawlessly; who knows.

The Philips 3300 coffee maker is a game-changer for any coffee lover. It combines sleek design with powerful performance, delivering a perfect cup every time. One of the standout features is its intuitive touch display, making it incredibly easy to customize your coffee to your liking. Whether you want an espresso, cappuccino, or regular coffee, this machine's One-Touch function makes it a breeze to prepare your favorite drinks with minimal effort. Its ceramic grinders are another highlight, ensuring a consistent, high-quality grind that preserves the rich flavors of the beans. Plus, with its AquaClean water filter, you can enjoy up to 5,000 cups without the need to descale, saving you time and hassle. The 3300 also boasts a milk frother that creates beautifully creamy foam for the perfect latte or cappuccino. Overall, the Philips 3300 is a perfect blend of convenience, performance, and quality, making it a must-have for anyone who appreciates great coffee.

I have had a few Breville espresso machines and finally chose to retire them in favour of this Philips machine. I like both machines, and each has their pros and cons. Generally, I am happy with the Philips, but it does require some TLC in a few areas. After 3 months, I am comfortable enough with this machine to offer my comments. Pros: 1. Makes just what I want - cappuccino & espresso, and makes them very well. 2. Good size water reservoir, easy to refill. 3. Good grind (when/if it feeds properly). 4. The milk frother is a marvel, and my favourite gadget. 5. Small footprint, blends in and fits my coffee bar just right. Cons: 1. The hopper doesn't always feed the beans into the grinder. They get stuck occasionally so I have to poke the beans down, otherwise I just get hot water. 2. The pre-ground compartment is useless for me. It only accepts 1 scoop and that makes a weak cup of coffee. If I add a 2nd scoop, it bypasses the pre-grounds and all I get is hot water. 3. Sometimes the on/off button doesn't respond well to my touch. I might have to press it 2-3 times to get it to power on. Not sure why. But it does turn on. Am I happy with this machine? Yes, it is convenient and makes a good java. Would I buy it again? For the price, probably not, unless some of the cons got resolved.

I got this from my husband for Christmas, and I absolutely love it. It makes the best coffee. Unfortunately, the bottom latch on the milk frother broke when I removed it from the drying rack and it’s useless now. I looked up replacement parts, and it looks like it would cost about $100 to replace it. It was a costly machine to begin with, and it felt like it was well worth it until this happened. I’m not sure id recommend buying it because it took very little to break this part, and it’s an integral part.

I decided to get this unit from the reviews on YouTube. Big mistake!!!! Unit full of plastic. For a unit in this price range plastic parts will not last long. This is what made me decide to send the unit back - the unit worked for two weeks and after all lights were flashing red. The error brochure even was not up to par lacking information. I had to search online for error message fix. I attempted the fix as suggested by the Philips website. Still the unit did not work....... Waste of my time.
