I bought the v730 to use as a bow case for my hoyt ventum 33. The cut out was fairly easy for a first timer. The case itself is everything I could ask for barring an internal lock. Love the snug fit and has plenty of room for equipment storage. Rugged, sturdy, 5 locking points, wheels, and looks nice as well. I 100% would purchase this case again.

Mounted on my trucks bed rack and I have no regrets. It looks awesome. It’s made of strong plastic and definitely seems highly durable to the elements. I have my off-road gear and tools in there, it’s rained a few times and everything has kept dry. The weight is just right for an item like this. I’m very picky when it comes to spending on stuff like this but this case is well worth the money.

I bought this for my bow. Th case is well built with nice latches. There are layers of foam inside to cut to fit and my bow fits great. Unfortunately I broke my wrist so won’t be able to go anywhere with it for a while!

Nothing to dislike in this item, it is designed to be perfect for the users. I wish it could stand not only in the horizontal position, but in vertical (on wheels) as well, but that is probably it. Otherwise, this item is perfect and serves its purpose as it shall be. Kudos to Pelican!

This case has wheels so it is easy to move around. It will hold two rifles comfortably. It is technically too large for most airplanes if they use their normal bag dimension rule (73 total inches vs. 60 inch total for most airline baggage rules). It also happens to be too big for the trunk of my car so I ordered the next size down. Also a great case that fits one rifle, but it has no wheels. But it did fit in my trunk.

After comparing with other brands and even between other Pelican brand offerings, the choice for me was obvious. The Pelican Vault is less expensive than both the Pelican Protector 1700 series and the iM series of cases, plus the Vault line seems to offer more protection from hard use, better security with steel hardened locking points and more protective foam inside the case. The one thing that gave me pause and had me considering the others was that I couldn’t find anywhere that said the Vault case was waterproof, only “weather-resistant.” I thought about that, but than decided that the likelyhood of the case becoming submerged under any circumstance was highly unlikely. The case does have a rubber/silicone gasket all the way around it, so I’m more than comfortable that the Vault will withstand any conditions that I’ll run into. *Pro Tip: use an electric knife to cut out the shape(s) you want in the foam (after first tracing them out). It goes so much faster and cleaner than trying to chop it out with a blade.

Love this case a little heavy but the wheels and the sturdiness make this easy to handle AWESOME CASE

This case is suitable for hobbyists, but LEOs and serious competitors should spend the extra dough on a higher grade Pelican Protector or Storm case. There's ample room inside for two AR-15s, assuming that you remove the mags and didn't go nuts with accessories. The case body is abrasion-resistant, but it flexes slightly if I sit on it. The latches are high quality; easy to open when intended, won't pop open unbidden, and snap closed reassuringly. FYI you'll need at least two padlocks to properly secure this case. Roller wheels and carry handles both work well. On my particular case, the case body is slightly out of spec, so I have to gently flex the lid to get each side to close fully against the other. The included foam pieces can be cut out for a custom fit, but it is NOT pluckable. For best results, you'll need chalk and an electric carving knife or hot blade. I don't have those, so I used a serrated pocket knife, which did the job but left behind jagged edges.

Quick delivery. Worked as I hoped it would. Following some YouTube tutorials it turned out great

Was just what I was looking for ! Not using it as a gun case, but rather as a case for our Amina ALF100 in-wall subwoofer demonstration unit, which by the way is just killer! It’s 16 x 42 by 3-3/8 deep, made to fit onto- and within- a 2 x 4 stud-bay, so the Vault case provided a perfect fit for something that provides a bang but with a little less lethal force than the long gun….Happy :)

Bought to hold 34” ATA bow. Lots of room left

Multiple foam incerts for many options to cut foam. Foam is marked so only goes in one way(if you have to push its the wrong way) Foam cuts clean as long as the knife is sharp. I have a 34ATA bow in mine and have lots of room for all the bits and bobs that go with it.
