Got this for a 65" LCD TV and it's a fantastic stand. So nice to be able to swivel the TV and it turns with the lightest touch while staying exactly where you put it. It also looks great, and is so great to be able to put it on furniture that has a small footprint, rather than something that can accommodate the very wide stance that TV feet have today. The stand is also very sturdy and the locks are handy to lock it in place on the frame. Plus if you want to hang it on the wall down the road instead, you can reconfigure it for that purpose. The only issue I had when assembling, is the short 4 screws supplied to attach the plate to the top of the stand. The plate has a bracket that is made to slide on to the top of the stand (over the holes that have a silver ring). So the screws go through the bracket holes and into the stand holes. Only they weren't long enough to be able to reach the threads in the silver-ringed holes. Because those holes (in the top of the stand) have a short neck before the threads start, and the bracket did not hug the top of the stand close enough... so the distance was too far for the very short screws to catch the threads. If I got one side in, I couldn't get the other... and if I put one screw in on one side, I couldn't get a screw in on the other (even without tightening it down). I could have tried taking the bracket off and bending it in some, but aside form it being very thick steel, I did not feel comfortable having those very short screws securing the very part of the stand that was going to be supporting the entire weight of the TV. So used 4 screws of the same size (but longer) that were VESA screws that also came with the kit, that I did not need for my TV, as mine used one of the larger sets. And the VESA screws were handier anyway because they were phillips heads. They are silver instead of black (the designated screws are black to match the stand mast) but you don't see them anyway and I felt much better using those! And since the stand is hollow, the longer length didn't matter, except it' made it super easy to attach the bracket and much more secure IYAM. On this point, in the manual it says (gist) if you want to tilt it and it's not budging, to slightly loosen two of these screws... another reason longer screws are better. (I don't need tilt but mentioned that because it's relevant here.) You don't want to back out a short screw that's only catching a few threads anyway, and potentially have it fall out... but won't have that concern with the longer screws. So I would buy it again in a second (but would personally do the VESA screw swap regardless). But did not take a star off because the stand is so very nice and the screws I needed were included, even if not intended for that purpose. And maybe most brackets hug the mast better so the short screws might work for most people and they won't know the difference.

I had to raise my TV in order to provide space for a center channel speaker (about 6" tall). The stand that came with the 65-inch TCL QM8 only lifts the TV a couple of inches, so I decided to try this TV stand. I was a bit worried that this stand wouldn't hold up to a TV of this size, but my fears were unfounded. The stand came well packaged and well organized. All the bolts, washers, spacers, etc. were well wrapped and labeled, making it easy to match each piece to the instruction manual. An allen wrench was provided, but I had to use my own Philips screwdriver to install the safety screws. It would've been nice if one end of the allen wrench was a Philips head. The stand came with bolts of varying lengths and widths in order to fit most Vesa mounts. It also came with different sized spacers to account for curved TV backs or screw holes that are embedded. The vertical part of the stand has 3 sets of holes that help determine the desired height. This horizontal backplate is screwed into one of the sets. The rails that screw into the VESA mount, also have 3 sets hooks that hang on the horizontal plate. This provides a lot of height flexibility. After reading the manual for about 10 minutes, I was able to construct the stand fairly easily. The hardest part was determining which holes to use on the vertical upright in order to provide the space I needed. With the help of my daughter, we got everything set up in about 30 minutes. Everything seems to be holding well and looks great. I was able to raise the bottom of the 65-inch TV about 8 inches off the ground using the highest settings. The cabling hooks on the back of the stand makes everything look nice and clean. I also like that it swivels, making easier to access the ports on the back of the TV. All-in-all, this stand was well worth the price.

I spent some time searching for a TV stand that would replace the stand my TV came in. I swear I thought it wouldn’t hold up my TV, but it does. I have a 65’’ TV, it fits and it is sturdy. Easy to assemble, the only tool to build it was included. It feels like I upgraded my TV! I can adjust the height and swivel the TV to escape the suns glare. It fits well and the material is sturdy, fits the look I was looking for, Definitely worth the buy!

Stand is very sturdy and well designed. Instructions are excellent with plenty of detail to handle TV's with different shaped backs. Several sizes of screws, washers, and spacers are provided to accommodate these differences. Screws, washers, etc come in clearly marked bags. Allows for a number of different height adjustments. Very good quality.
