I was skeptical that the PopSocket MagSafe mount would stay put. I had an aluminum pop socket capable mount which I used for 3 years. While that one was nice to look at, the magnet wasn't very strong and would fall off if the phone fell off the bed. It would also sometimes come off in a coat pocket and was very annoying. The longer I had it, the weaker the magnet seemed to become. I couldn't really count on it stay in place when I needed it to. The PopSocket MagSafe mount has an extremely strong magnet. It takes quite some force to remove it. I'm really happy about that. It also has a relatively small footprint compared to the aluminum one I was using. It would be nice if this mount had charge thru capability, but I'm happy at least that it stays in place. Perhaps in the future there will be an option for this. I do have a couple of the vehicle PopSocket mounts, so I'll have to try those out again now that I have a phone mount that will stay put.

I’ve used it daily, and it still works like new. I expect it to last a long time. Great for Taking Photos As someone who loves taking photos, I also appreciate how much more stable my phone feels when I’m snapping a picture. It makes getting the perfect angle a lot easier, and I no longer have to worry about my phone slipping out of my hand while I’m trying to capture a shot. Final Thoughts Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my PopSocket purchase. It enhances the usability of my phone in so many ways—whether I’m gripping it more comfortably, using the kickstand for hands-free activities, or simply appreciating the minimalist design. If you’re on the fence about getting one, I highly recommend it. It’s a small investment that adds huge value to your everyday phone use. Highly recommend!

Its a simple design that just works for its intended purpose. It’s also not expensive at all. No regrets here and definitely worth buying. It’s a strong enough magnet to not worry about it popping off but not too strong where it’s impossible to remove. It makes holding and using even the biggest iPhone/Samsung galaxy models with one hand a piece of cake. It’s sturdy and allows you to prop up your phone for easy viewing on a table. It works well with every pop socket accessory holder. There are plenty of colors available and they are all aesthetically pleasing (many people I know bought some of the different colors). I have dropped my phone and it surprisingly hasn’t gotten any scratches so it is oddly durable (a surprise bonus).

I was always using the adhesive back Pop Socket but it had drawbacks. I couldn’t remove it for wireless charging and it was hard to use with a selfie stick, tripod or cell phone holder in bed. I finally made the switch and oh my…. For me it is a game changer!!! I can’t believe I didn’t make the switch sooner. This magnet is strong….. super strong. I went on a trip and accidentally placed the pop socket on a metal lamp while my phone was charging wirelessly. Well… it got stuck!! Seriously…. I couldn’t take it off. My brother was able to finally remove it from the lamp, but the “pop” portion popped off! I reached out to customer service and they replaced it immediately!! This is now my tried and true and I am a permanent fan! Love the functionality, fit and design!
