I’ve only ever used PopSocket on my phone cases, they are very functional and my absolute favorite accessory! However the last one I had was the kind where you can twist it off and use replacement tops. I never did replace it but it would often fall off, and eventually a little piece broke and it would barely stay on necessitating me buying this new Popsocket. I have to say in the past the ones I’ve purchased all worked wonderfully but they weren’t the ones that could twist off. So I either recommend the basic ones that stay put or this MagSafe style! This is my first MagSafe one. It comes with a guide and instructions for installing. Make sure to clean your case really well (use a rubbing alcohol wipe) before you attach the magnet sticker so the adhesion is perfect. Once you attach the magnet sticker the Popsocket base clicks into place so easily and it’s very strong!! It’s hard to even remove the Popsocket to use the MagSafe it’s so strong but you’ll get the hang of it. Value for money is good. I would’ve liked even more color/design options since this one doesn’t match my case that well but it’s still pretty.

I was skeptical that the PopSocket MagSafe mount would stay put. I had an aluminum pop socket capable mount which I used for 3 years. While that one was nice to look at, the magnet wasn't very strong and would fall off if the phone fell off the bed. It would also sometimes come off in a coat pocket and was very annoying. The longer I had it, the weaker the magnet seemed to become. I couldn't really count on it stay in place when I needed it to. The PopSocket MagSafe mount has an extremely strong magnet. It takes quite some force to remove it. I'm really happy about that. It also has a relatively small footprint compared to the aluminum one I was using. It would be nice if this mount had charge thru capability, but I'm happy at least that it stays in place. Perhaps in the future there will be an option for this. I do have a couple of the vehicle PopSocket mounts, so I'll have to try those out again now that I have a phone mount that will stay put.

Works great to hold my heavy phone and as a stand when I lay my phone sideways. I also love that I can pop it off when I want to charge the phone. Takes a little strength but it pulls off cleanly and goes on super easy.

Its the best at holding my phone, its very easy to put on the phone, its has a nice build quality, it works very nice as a phone stand, and it has a very nice design. but if you don't apply it to a flat surface then it will fall off over time.

This is a different version that the one I used to own. The pop out part is on the cap (push down and twist like medical pill bottle to release) and not at the base (pop out 4 holding grooves to release). This version technically has wireless charging compatible (more on this later). If you have a lot of the older version popsocket, know that the caps don’t work on the new version. Been using popsockets for at least half a decade now. Very functional with some minor inconveniences that I must work around, but overall worked well for me. What I love about is it that it provides better grip when holding the phone. Now if I use a phone without it in public, feels like anyone can snatch my phone off my hand at any second, or I’m afraid I may accidently slip off my hand and drop the floor Can get better reach with fingers while still providing grip on the phone if you carry a larger phone. Also great as tabletop/kicks stand when I need it. Tend to use it all the time when watching steaming videos while eating or on casual video calls. No need to bring additional stand accessory There are some official accessories for it that I use, but also made some DIY ones. For example, if you have magnet attachment phone mount, you can disassemble the popsocket and put the metal plate inside with tape, and make it attach to magnetic surfaces (This only works with older version and not this one) This version can wirelessly charge if you attach it on your phone directly with no case. But the charging speed is not as fast than without popsocket Adhesive works well on all phones case surfaces I currently own. Heard from a co-worker that it didn’t work for them when they used it on items with waterproof surfaces If you have accessories that holds the popsocket in place; I wouldn’t use the popsocket on them for at least 24 hours so it doesn’t peel itself off due to gravity during initial adhesion period. Extremely strong. Unless you intentionally use excessive force, it won’t fall off. Peeling the popsocket off can leave stains depending how long you had it on. With some cleaning tools can scrap it off without leaving much residue. Use hand sanitzer to take off the residue, better than using soup or just water. To take it off once it’s stuck on you must use fingernails (will not work if you have long nails) or a thin flat head screw driver around the circumference They are durable. Aside from paint wearing off overtime, the first one I own still works like it did day 1. I’m not rough with my popsocket or phones so may want to take that under consideration (?) -Cons of the popsocket can be worked around. It adds thickness. As thick or slightly thicker than your phone without a case, making it 2x thicker at one location. If you wear tight pants/jeans, there will get a budge, especially if you put it in your back pocket. Seeing the bulge is not uniform can wobble when typing on phone on a flat surface. If you stick the popsocket on the phone directly, may interfere with some of its functionality such as wireless charging (if you have the older version). That’s why I always opt to put it on a case. Never happened to me, but my co-worker said it get snatched onto things when trying to pull it out of her purse. Maybe she has way too many stuff in there, or the fact that I always carry my phone in my pocket or dedicated pocket in my backpack. Overall, despite the negatives I find it very useful for daily tasks.

I first saw a Pop Socket and ignorantly thought "how stupid" and "that's a chick fad." Then I saw a knock off brand on clearance for $1 and was like why not try it. I liked it, but it sucked as well lol. So I caved and bought the actual Pop Socket branded one and couldn't imagine a smart phone without one now. My wife has the Pop Socket wallet and loves it too. It's good for holding big phones one handed, can be used as a kick stand for watching videos on a desk or table. The only "complaints" I have is the adhesive won't stick to a "nude" phone that has a glass back and it doesn't work with wireless charging. But I don't trust my $1k phone with no case anymore and I don't own a wireless charger except the one built in my car, but I have a fast charging cable in my car so I don't care. If you care about either of those "complaints" then a Pop Socket isn't for you, but if you own charging cables and use cases, this is 100% the way to go.

Fan of pop-sockets. Easy to install, durable and reliable. Although it's held by sticker, I've detached and reattached to new surfaces 3x. Still works strong. Especially useful when you need to set it aside and watch the screen while working on something else.

This is fantastic!! I was a lot hesitant buying this for the price as i was skepticial as to how well the magnet would hold on my iphone. It’s unbelievable. Very secure. I’ve been using for over 4 months now with no issues. Doesn’t slide out of place, Is very durable and expands easily. Comfortable between my fingers when I’m holding it. I placed a magnet on the top of the expanded piece to attach to my cell holder in my vehicle. The pop socket stays in place with no movement at all. The pop socket expands and is durable and secure enough to use as a stand to go hands free. Great quality, made with durable material, magnet is incredibly strong and excellent for everyday use. Worth the money! Shipped quickly and the item is exactly as described. A great purchase.

Play Video Funciona con mi funda que ya trae el iman, y el adaptador de iman que viene con el popsocket también pega muy bien en la funda, para quitar el popsocket si se necesita un poco de fuerza por lo que hace que la compra sea de calidad (color Opaalescente)

I have used a popsocket for about 8 years. We've come a long way from the sticky pad with this one!!! Using a case that has the magsafe compatibility, this popsocket sticks on, and sticks on well! It doesn't come loose at all. As always, love popsocket!!! Great product!
