When I leave for work all day I feel very sad knowing that my cats don’t have any interactive toys to play with. I’m so thankful to have found this because it literally works all day and charges super quick. I can leave it running all day and know that it peaks my cats interest. There are three settings and I think the only annoying part for me is that it flashes light which (I know, helicopter cat mom here) I don’t like that it does that in my cat’s eyes (I swear I know that doesn’t seem like a big issue). I really like the fact that if the cat doesn’t play with it for a while, it will shut down temporarily and I think every hour it will wiggle to try to get your cat's attention again. I like that because most toys will only reactivate if your cat touches it. This one does it without having to touch it which I think is awesome. It makes a bird noise and moves to catch their attention. I love it and so do my girls!

This toy is a ball with a furry thing wrapped around the center. The ball has 3 bright colors with differing modes of movements that you change by pressing the button. The toy comes with a charger cord and it takes a couple of hours to fully charge. It's hard to say how many hrs you get between charges because it depends on how much the toy is being played with. I left it on all day and night and it was still working great in the a.m. The toy makes a squeaking and flapping noises to attract the cat's attention then sleeps when it receives no motion for a while with blinking every so often in case the cat wants to play later on. You will need to keep an eye on the section where the ball turns to make sure no fur, carpet fibers, hair are wrapped around it. I saw the ball wasn't moving as much and found carpet fiber stuck there. Tweezers work great for removing it. The toy can also be used without the mat but trust me on this, the ball moves very fast and finds lots of spots to hide. I ended up getting as much exercise as my cat from having to go find where the ball was hiding. So now we use the mat unless I'm feeling spunky myself. My cat also found he could take a long run, dive on the mat slide on it across the carpet. I've had as much fun watching my cat play with this toy as he's had playing with it. I recommend it highly!

I got my cats a similar interactive toy about a year and a half ago and they loved it to death. I tried two other options and they either vibrated instead of rolling or made a super annoying high pitched noise. I ordered this one as a last try because the ball in the picture looked just like the one we used to have and thank goodness it IS THE SAME. It rolls, the noise is minimal, it comes alive every hour or so to engage my cats in play while I’m away, and my cats love it. So glad the good version of this toy is still available!

I was skeptical at first, but my cats love this toy and was well worth the price! I was looking for an alternative for the typical circular mouse on a stick toy. Literally within minutes my cats would knock the mouse off and the fun was done. I love the motion activated aspect and that I can just let it go and my cats can play whenever they want, not just when I remember to turn on the toy. The motion and noise really catches their attention. Now I have two so they have one upstairs and another down. I do wish they sold balls separately just to have an extra.

It is a good value, it's really 3 toys in 1. The roller ball comes with a feather attachment to be used independently on the floor. The nylon bag is durable and has that crunch that cats love to jump on. Can be used independently and combined together is the ultimate cat experience.

This is perhaps the best battery-operated cat toy that I have purchased for my 1-yr old cat. he is a very curious and active cat, so moving things greatly appeal to him. It should be noted that he is not amused by it 100% of the time, but it attracts his attention most of the time. All cats, it should be noted, are different. So different personalities will react differently. The battery lasts a long time, and I really don't understand the automatic operation (to tell you the truth). But, it seems to randomly "come alive" at random times -- even when the cat is nowhere around it. If I move it, it will come alive. It gets pounced on and moves around the house. It may get "bunched up" into a floppy "ball". It might be better if the bottom of the "bag" was made of a more rigid material to make it stay flat and round in shape. But, I guess you could do this yourself, by Velcroing a cardboard disc to the bottom if you wanted to. I may try doing that. But, it seems to work well enough "as is". I have not tried taking the ball out and letting it move around on its own.

Our cats really like this toy. Well-made and provides entertainment for the 2 cats, both almost 3 years old. They don’t play with the ball much when it goes out of the fabric. I think they are afraid of it. But they love playing with it inside the fabric.

Love this toy. It keeps my little guy entertained. Giving it 3 stars though. It hasn't even been that long and the toy dies out even after being charged. We checked to see if there was anything g hindering the toy from moving, but no dice. I would recommend getting it, however, if all the balls have a short circuit, I wouldn't bother. This issue needs to be looked into. Hoping I could get it replaced because it definitely helps keep my little guy busy ans moving around. If that issue ever gets fixed, then cool, buy it. But for now, we are stuck with a dud.
