I have a very unique take on controllers because I do esports. Basically, all of my equipment gets put through the wringer, especially my controller. However, this thing has stood up to it pretty well. It responds well and isn’t prone to sticking. It can pick up on very slight movements. Connecting to switches, even several different ones, is not an issue unlike other controllers I have tested. It also has a nice feel in the hands. It might be a tad large for smaller hands, though. I have noticed a slight issue where it will occasionally move to the left but this is relatively uncommon and easily fixed by turning the controller on and off. I have yet to have it impact gameplay. One thing I have yet to be able to test is how it holds up over time but I have been using this controller for several hours a day every day for a month and have not noticed any wear-related issues. If I remember to, I’ll edit this later with an update. Overall, this is quite a nice controller. There’s no bells and whistles but it does exactly what it says it does. Works just fine for casual or more intense play, even esports.

Click to play video I really needed a controller to use for my Switch, as holding the entire console for any extended gaming hurts my hands. I was going to get an adapter to just use my Xbox controller, but I sold my Xbox so I turned to PowerA. It paired quickly to the switch [Home screen > Controllers > Change grip/order > Press the sync button on the controller > once it shows up, press A] and worked great in game. I also really needed a controller that would pair to Steam on my PC as well, because some games I play I really just prefer having a controller. There were some mixed reports about this working with Steam, so I took a gamble since it was only $35. It works, but you will need to reconnect it to your PC with bluetooth, and then select the controller in Steam every time it seems. To do so, follow these steps- Turn bluetooth ON for your PC > On the controller, press and hold the Sync button > on your PC, click "Add bluetooth or other device" > Select "Bluetooth, mice, pens, or audio" > Select the device. It shows up as a Pro Controller > Go to Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings > Select "Switch Pro Configuration Support" > The controller should show at the bottom, select it > Play games comfortably!! When it's successfully paired, you can exit the controller settings, and open games normally through steam, or go through the Big Picture mode and start them. As long as the controller stays on, then it will automatically connect to games and you can just pick it up and start moving with analog sticks rather than WASD. You can also select to use Nintendo button layout, otherwise it'll default to Xbox layout. I prefer the Nintendo layout, so I have mine selected but this is completely optional. As for the build quality, it feels cheap, I'm not gonna lie. But it was like half the price of any other controller on the market, does the same thing, and looks a bit more cute in my opinion. Even with batteries, the controller is super lightweight. To some this might be a negative, because it does feel nice to have a sturdy controller, but I actually like that it's so cheap and lightweight since that puts less strain on my hands during lengthy game sessions.

Updated 7/28/23 Received a replacement on this controller and have had no problems thus far. Great company to work with. I want to give this controller 3.5 stars only because I'm buying another one, on sale. This controller didn't even last me a year as it began drifting a few days before its anniversary. Compressed air didn't help it. You can't recalibrate through the Switch even though it is a Nintendo licensed product. I will also point out that it appeared to drift not long after I first had it, but noticed that if you connect it while not in direct sight of the Switch or with one of the directional sticks pressed, it will appear as if drift has set in. Disconnecting/resetting corrected it, but that is no longer the case anymore. It definitely appears that drift has set in permanently. I think this IS a great controller for its feel and functionality, especially for how long it retains its charge, but really disappointed it didn't last a year. I would never pay full price for it.

The controller feels great in my hands and is a great way to easily play Animal Crossing: New Horizons on my switch. This controller is also incredibly easy to set up and start using - I had it up and running in no time. The design of the controller is also super cute and has a great Animal Crossing theme that reflects the true design of the game. feels ergonomically, correct for long gaming hours I highly recommend this controller to anyone looking for a great way to enhance their Animal Crossing experience on the Nintendo Switch.

Este control lo compre aproximadamente por $1000 en oferta aunque su precio normal es más o menos de $1500 sin oferta pero creo que hay mejores opciones por ese precio o menos. PROS: 1)Cuenta con botones traseros muy útiles para juegos frenéticos y que necesiten rapidez 2)Tiene poco deley al jugar y no hay problemas de conexión del control 3)La batería dura muchísimo, diría q te la puedes pasar fácil 15 horas jugando sin necesidad de cargarlo 4)El diseño del control es agradable al tacto y muy fácil y cómodo de controlar, no importa si tienes las manos pequeñas o largas, se adapta a cualquiera 5)Los botones se sienten bien, ni tan duros y ni tan frágiles CONTRAS: 1)No es tan bueno si eres muy competitivo o si lo usas demasiado ya q se desgasta muy fácilmente por eso el siguiente punto 2)Con el uso continuo y rudo de este control es muy probable que las palancas del control contraigan Joy-Con Drift, es decir que las palancas se dañen y muevan por cuenta propia 3)El control es de plastico y por ende tendrá muchos problemas como la ventilación, sudoración y demás 4)El control se puede conectar a otros dispositivos pero no funcionan del todo bien En conclusión, ¿Vale la pena?:Si, pero solo si es con uso moderado, si lo que quieres es un control para jugar mucho tiempo o muy competitivamente esto no es para ti ya que se dañara muy pronto el control, lo mejor es que escojas otros controles con botones traseros o incluso te cambies de plataforma de juego.
