I have read that using plastic cutting board is not good because of microplastics, so change them with this Royal cutting board set. Comes in three different sizes, super easy to clean. Looks durable, it’s gentle on your knife and price is reasonable. Great customer service too, recommended.

Very happy with these cutting boards. It’s great having a variety of sizes. No need to cut a lemon on a huge cutting board, there is a size included for small items. Easy to clean and durable.

If you are thinking about purchasing this product I will give you some helpful advice on how to evaluate previous reviews to determine if this is the right cutting board (set) for you. Sort them by rating high to low. Once you have done this you will be looking at a list of how people take care of their kitchen items from "very careful" to "it should just work without maintenance". If you own knives you probably understand that they aren't just always going to be sharp. Cutting on certain surfaces will dull them. Using a knife block can dull them. They require sharpening and care. Sure some will last longer and keep their edge better due to their quality, but you need to care about what you own and put in some effort at keeping your items in good shape so they will do what you purchased them for. The reason I say all of this is because I purchased these expecting all sorts of problems. I expected splinters and separation of the bamboo pieces. Know what I found? A decent quality cutting board that requires a certain level of care to keep in good shape. While I think it is possible that a few bad ones left the factory, the number of problems people are having with these lead me to believe that they aren't being oiled and/or they are being submerged and allowed to absorb water. I'm not going to say this is the finest cutting board on the market, but I do think that a lot of the hate is misplaced. I have now been using these for a couple of weeks and they have performed flawlessly. I really think that this is a solid 4 star set. Is it easy to clean? Well it is wood so no it isn't as easy to clean as glass. Is it sturdy? Again, it is made up of pieces of bamboo so it probably isn't as sturdy as a solid board would be. Craftsmanship? I don't think this was made by a craftsman who cares what he is shipping out the door. I haven't experienced splintering so far and it feels well made but it is a mass produced product so I don't think it earns 5 stars there either. Ultimately this is a good set that presents an incredible value if you are in the market for bamboo boards. I cook for my family at home and I plan on taking care of these so they will serve me well. It comes with care instructions and everyone who purchases these would be well served by reading them. I doubt they will win any awards or be used in any top kitchens around the world, but they are a good set and a great value.

I like the cutting board, perfect size. It s very good quality as well. Worth the money

Unlike my other bamboo boards, these are denser, and the knife glides off the surface, as it should. I cook every day and love the finger-recessed design of these, making handling them more manageable. I bought the expanded set and found all of the boards very useful. I also purchased the finishing oil from them and treated the boards. Never put wood in your dishwasher... I hand wash and wipe dry them, then finish air drying them horizontally (against the grain) so the ends will never split. Thank you, Royal Craft, for a decent product. Their veggie scrubber is top quality as well!

Bamboo is safer than plastic for cutting boards. It’s not healthy to ingest tiny wood fragments that are the inevitable result of chopping or slicing on wood cutting boards. These are very solid bamboo boards although none are as big as the largest wood board that has now been recycled. Bamboo board are light and are remaining smoother longer than my old wood boards did. Recommended for ease of use, cleaning, and health.

Looove these , washed them by hand and in the dishwasher several times and haven’t had any cracking ! I’ve had them for about a year and a half now.

Excellent high quality product

I opened this up and began to hand wash and tiny bits of wood were shedding everywhere. Very low quality product. I want my money back. What kind of cutting board sheds wood pieces??
