I've had a wired Basilisk for several years now and it still works just as well as it did before. It has not developed any issues with the scroll wheel, the buttons, or any sort of double-clicking problems. I've had other similarly priced mice before and all of them did not stand up to the quality of the Razer Basilisk. After 4-5 years of use, the rubber grip on the side has finally started to wear down and be uncomfortable on my finger so I decided to purchase another one, this time the wireless Basilisk V3 Pro in white. It's such a great mouse. The response is great, the feel is great, the RGB effects are extremely customizable, and the build quality is top notch. For the wireless version, I've found the battery life to be excellent and if you use the docking station for it, it's easily rechargeable and has an excellent polling rate. I've noticed no difference in response from the wired to the wireless with the dock. The only thing I'd say is the wired mouse is MUCH cheaper so if you're fine with having the wire, you may as well just get that instead of the wireless.

I've spent several days looking for a gaming mouse at the right price and had the functions I was looking for. This mouse has hit the mark. The RGB functions are great. Colors are vibrant and bright. The adjustable DPI on the fly is great at the touch of one button. Great for adjusting from gaming to productivity. Mouse came almost fully charged, so getting to full charge before use was a short period of time. Currently setup with 2.4ghz wireless connection. So far it's crisp and responsive. The mouse clicks are also nice a crisp and with optical switches there is no worry of double clicking. The software was quick and easy to install. All custom configurations per the software are also quick and easy. Although I don't have much time using this mouse, I can say the setup was quick and easy. This is the first ergonomic style mouse I've ever used. Overall very comfortable for gaming or simple productivity tasks.

Overall, I am happy with this product and recommend it. Pros: I have used this mouse for more than a year now without issues. It works well for both everyday use and gaming. I have a fairly large hand and it fits comfortably. Cons: The RGB colors don't do anything for me, but they can be changed or turned off it desired. The lower thumb button, button 12 shown on the current listing pictures, can be difficult to reach.

I used the Logitech G502 Lightspeed for some years. I was looking for a similar mouse, but with bluetooth and battery. Then I found this one.... and IT'S AMAZING! Maybe it has less buttoms than the G502, but actually I didn't needed that much amount of buttoms. It is conftable for the hand. I have mid-size hands (size 9) and my hand fits perfect to reach al buttoms and also to rest on it. That let's a smooth movement without damaging my wrist or knuckles. I haven't figure it out, but I'm quite sure the Basilisk V3 Pro does not have the chance to add weight. I actually never use weights. It uses the Razer Central app for configuration. There you have a ll the RGB colors you want, and al the personalized chromas. Also you can set profiles depending on what are you using your mouse. DPIs can increase from 100 to 30.000. You can use the buttom in the middle to change in 5 stages (all programable). Also the buttom on the side let you diminish the amount of DPIs meanwhile you pressed it. Specially when working with Photoshop or other desing programs it is very usefull. You can program almost all buttoms the mouse has. Battery life is very good. I can tell, by using it 8 hours a day, battery is lasting 10 days (more or less). You can use it plugged with the cable it comes in the box, and stil use the mouse when charging. I might say price is a little bit to high, considering the G502 lightspeed or the G502 lightspeed pro. But for me it was a great investment and I really love it.

I bought this mouse to replace an aging Logitech wireless mouse that has seen been discontinued. The hardware itself is well-built and comfortable. The mouse has a "feature" that puts itself to sleep after so many minutes, and this feature cannot be disabled. Not being able to disable this is a bad software design, and many people complain about this in various online forums. It takes getting used to the fact that I have to shake my mouse to wake up. If this had been the only issue, I could have learned to adjust. But no, the overall experience quickly went downhill from there. The software nagged me about a firmware update, so I gave in and installed it. Now, the mouse does not shake awake. I have to physically turn it off and back on once it goes to sleep. And again, the software will not let this feature be disabled to work around this firmware issue. I contact support via email form submission, and explain this issue, filling out the long list of information Razer asks for as part of opening a support ticket. Over a week goes by and I finally get a response from Support Person A, who provides me a link to a help webpage on how to charge the mouse. That's not the issue so I reply back stating such. A day later, I get another reply from Support Person B with another link to another webpage that explains that its best to turn the mouse off when charging it, and explains how to do that. Again, I reply back saying they are not reading my issue, and I reiterate the issue to them. Today, I get another response from Support Person C that asks me to fill out all the demographics and purchase info I provided in the first email, which all that info is already in the email thread. It has become clear their support people do not want to take the time to work on an issue, and rather send cookie-cutter form responses hoping that I either go away, or the ticket lands on someone else's queue to deal with.

The mouse looks great and the synapse software allows the user to configure it easily according to the needs . My only comment is that it doesn't come with a charging dock (like the Razer Viper ultimate) which you can use to simply place your mouse on the dock to charge it overnight at the end of your day , instead it comes with a long charging cable which you have to plug into the mouse every time you need to charge it .

I love this mouse on the RGB lights keep changing colours. It is able to work on any surface , including glass. its is so comfortable on my hands. It will get admiration from onlookers. No regrets on this purchase. I even bought a casing to protect this.

What’s not to like? Ergonomics, build quality, technology within, this is one awesome mouse. And the Chroma RGB wrapping around it is very nicely put together, it looks excellent. Just buy it. Go on.
