The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro is absolutely fantastic! The Bird’s Eye View and 3D motion detection are game changers for home security, providing a detailed and comprehensive view of the surrounding area. I love how it not only captures motion from all angles but also allows me to track movement across my property, ensuring I never miss anything important. The HD video quality is crystal clear, and the floodlights are extremely bright, providing excellent visibility even at night. The camera’s color and night vision are top-notch, making it easy to identify people and objects in the yard no matter the time of day or night. Setting up the camera was quick and easy, and the integration with the Ring app is seamless, allowing me to view live footage, receive alerts, and communicate through the two-way audio feature. I feel so much safer with this camera installed—it gives me peace of mind knowing that my home is under 24/7 surveillance. The motion alerts are highly customizable, and the security light is powerful enough to deter any unwanted visitors. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality security camera with advanced features, I highly recommend the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro. It’s everything you need for superior home protection.

I purchase this item as a gift for my daughter and the item is awesome even though this item was not new, the item works just like one. The price was cheaper than a new one so, it was a bargain. I loved very easy to install and set up. Thanks, ET

We have a large 3-level house, so I bought 5 of these to get complete coverage. We also have a ring doorbell. I’ll break down my review into parts because I have a lot to say. nstallation The base comes with a built-in tab that you can hang the unit from while you’re on the ladder and wiring it up. This works well if you’re mounting it vertically. However I had 2 locations where I had to mount it upside down (replacing older light fixtures), and in that case the ribbon holding the unit wasn’t long enough, so I had to rig up an extension with an old lanyard. The ribbon needs to be just 2” longer. Activation in the App Ring did a great job here. Every one of my units was connected to Wi-Fi within a few minutes, and after downloading the latest code they were off and running. I used my iPhone 13 for setup, and it’s very intuitive if you’re somewhat technically inclined. Connectivity I checked the device health and noticed that 3 units were in the red, so I added a UniFi Wi-Fi access point to that side of the house, which mostly solved the problem. Ideally you want the RSSI to be better than -70, but I have one unit that still shows -74 and it works fine. Live View takes 3-4 seconds to come up on all my units. My 2 access points are UniFi UAP-AC-HD and UniFi UAC-AC-PRO. Day-to-Day Use The Ring software comes with a rich set of options. We had to activate Smart Alerts to avoid getting alerts for cats and raccoons, but that feature works well. The lights still come on immediately, but it seems to takes a few more seconds to get an alert for a Person. This is a fair trade-off. Ring’s app is easy to use, and my non-nerd wife figured it out pretty quickly. I signed up for Protect Plus, currently $10 a month. It stores 60 days of video with no usage limits. I feel like this is a good price. Summary I haven’t used older Ring units, so I can’t compare to them, but I’m very happy with the quality of Ring’s latest software and hardware. This weekend I’ll be adding an indoor alarm system. Highly recommended!

I get that there are bashers of Ring products, but I have been an adopter since early on and have been beyond satisfied with all of their products, and this one is no exception! This replaced our Ring Floodlight camera that was bought in mid 2017. The camera faces directly east and is subjected to direct sunlight from dawn to late mid day in the unrelenting California Central Valley sun and the lense was finally getting blurry after almost 7 years of continuous use. I think it also had some help from bug spray..... While the old Floodlight cam was good, the improvements regarding resolution, clarity and the floodlights themselves, along with the louder speaker and siren, make this unit worth the cost! I'm not a huge fan of the "Birds Eye view", but the motion detection and the motion warning are both great. Honestly, I couldn't be any happier with this unit or any other Ring product I have used; from the Ring alarm, Video Doorbell Pro or the three battery/solar Spotlights they have more than met my needs for security and reliability!!
