These are sturdy, but not heavy, and I like the color of the wood. They are holding up well to being scrubbed clean, and I like the size of the utensils. They’re exactly what we were looking for.

My current supply of wooden utensils is thick and without any protective coating. Time for something new. I received my order of Riveira Bamboo Wooden Spoons quickly, in a nicely packaged box. I have since used three of them. They are exactly what I wanted; thin, yet sturdy. The various pieces have easily made mixing my different ingredients easy, with not fear of 'snapping' the utensil. The protective coating makes cleaning a breeze, along with preventing germs from penetrating the wood. Each piece has value. I love them!

On the whole, these are nice. Good length and good heft. However, one of the utensils was fashioned from a piece of bamboo too close to the outside of the stalk of bamboo. As a result, a softer piece chipped off during manufacturing and left a depression. See attached photo with water in the flaw. This was obvious to me when I took the utensils out of the packaging. It should have been caught in the factory.

I like that these utensils are crafted well and from natural material. I had the black plastic utensils but I'm tossing them out. These are wonderful. They feel nice in my hands and do the job.
