I really like the mobile app remote option, but recently, my Roku app stopped controlling my tv with the Roku Express+ device. When I went to the support page, I noticed that Roku had made new changes affecting the Express+ device and the mobile app no longer supports that particular model. Call me spoiled, but that would never do. So I ordered the Roku Streaming Stick 4k+ somewhat reluctantly -not oven realizing it was a refurbished unit - it was on my porch first thing the next morning. My reluctance was from the poor FireStick experience from years ago. That was a return, as I recall. This was a breeze to set up ; just follow the prompts! Mind you, we are completely Roku’d up at our house, so I am very accustomed to Roku’s easy set-up, navigation and exceptional customer service whenever I’ve needed it. This is an upgrade, for sure. The unit I replaced is over 5 years old and still works great, but 4k HD made a huge picture quality improvement plus I can use my cell phone again. Mission accomplished!!

The # of channels is remarkable!

I was hesitant to buy this, as I remember, fire sticks, and all the other early gimmicks, but this is the real deal and for a small subscription price YouTube TV replaced our DIRECTV. Of course there is live TV and zillions of movies. You also couldn’t get your Netflix and all other accounts goes right in and quality is true high definition unlike what I was paying before $300 a month for! I literally bought one for each TV in the house and it has saved us a ton and better picture quality

I have used a Google Chromecast for years and decided to give Roku a try. I do like it, but one of my TV’s does not work with it and I never had that issue with my Chromecast. You have to plug one part into the USB for power, and for some reason with the Roku my tv wouldn't supply enough power…? I had to plug it in to the wall, which makes it to where it doesn’t turn off with the tv and therefore is a pain. Weirdly this issue was with my nicer Samsung tv. Works fine with my cheap RCA tv. *shrugs* As far as the device, the menu is simple and easy to navigate. I like the remote that comes with it with the shortcut buttons, including two that you can customize to whatever apps you use most often. Very easy to program those.

Bought for an older smart TV that couldn’t stream YouTubeTV without Roku or a fire stick. Chose this Roku devise because of the control. Very pleased with overall function. Easy to use and the streaming works great. Highly recommend it!

Could not get the remote to pair. No more refurbished units for Me. Spent a lot of time screwing around trying to get it to pair. Sorry.

I don't have to point it directly at the receiver. Great picture quality.

Very easy to set up, hides easily behind the TV. Streaming quality it's good and I love that you don't have to use batteries in the remote.
