Biggest perks - USB C charging - quick to charge, lasts a really long time, and easy to see the percentage remaining when you want to check. Light up buttons - when you lift the remote up the buttons illuminate. Such a great feature for watching in the dark. As soon as you see it for the first time you wish you had it all along. Remote locator - There are two main ways to go about this. The remote has a switch on the side that you can toggle on and off that allows for voice control even when not holding the remote. If you leave this on, you can ask for the remote to make a sound. If you choose to leave this off so that the remote isn’t always listening, you’ll need to access the remote on the Roku app, or use a back up remote if you have one to navigate to the remote settings on your Roku, which allows you to ping your remote. There’s multiple sounds that you could choose from. Game changer for people who are constantly misplacing their Roku remotes. I highly recommend upgrading your current remote if it’s an older one, and if you lost or broke a remote, this is the no brainer replacement.

I really like the hands free voice control feature and that it lights up when I pick it up. The USB recharging feature saves me from having to buy batteries. I do wish the 4 buttons on the bottom were programmable. I do have Netflix and Amazon Prime, but not Disney or Apple TV, so those two buttons are of no use to me. The lost remote feature is a good idea but the sounds it makes are hard for me to hear and there's no volume setting for it that I can find.

our original Roku remote was dying a horrible death. Button would stick or not work at all. I was forced to break down an buy a new one. I did not want to spend over $20 but the rechargeable battery was a selling point for me. The back-lit feature is actually pretty cool. I've not use the "talk to me Hey Roku" mode yet. Pros: - back-lit is cool - super easy to setup - super easy to identify my TV so power and volume buttons work - solid build quality - solid tactile and quality feel - customizable hot pick button (wish it had more than three slots) Cons: - so far nothing. I worry about long term use, with the battery last long after many recharge cycles - like all Roku remotes, I wish the hot-keys could be set to our own apps. I don't have appleTv so I have a wasted button Would I purchase again: Yes Would I recommend to others: Yes

The remote was honestly awesome, when I was thinking about what I should write I could honestly not think of any flaws. The remote charges fast, has a voice assistant, and lights up! The only thing that doesn't affect but just stands out to me is the feature that helps you find the remote. Where the remote can automatically hear what youre saying after you say "Hey Roku! Where is the remote", it will send out a sound out of the remote. But if it is under something or in a different room, it will not hear you.

It's backlit and works really well. It's rechargeable. Why doesn't Roku include this with the soundbar? Seems like they should. Anyway, I really like it.

I’ve had many roku remotes so I hope i’m reviewing the one that lights up lol. If so, it’s amazing. I LOVE it. It was super super easy to set up. My old remote “broke” so i ordered this one. Then the day it came in, my “broken” remote started to miraculously work! It’s always like that, isn’t it? lol. I almost sent this one back because my other one was fine BUT I couldn’t because I LOVEEE it. It works fast, has a slightly bugger button for voice control, it clicks better (as per my boyfriend but i agree) and the light is EVERYTHING. I bought another for my dad because he’s well… a dad. A dad who is going to e hit the lit up remote like the olden days with high quality products. I’m glad they’re bringing back the light LOL

Esse deveria ser o controle de todos os Roku. Completo em todas as suas funções e dá para controlar a TV com ele. Acho injusto ter que comprar a parte, pq deveria ser o padrão.
