Purchased these Rubbermaid Brillance storage containers to put sugar/brown sugar/flour into. Our old cheap containers were not doing the job and some ants decided that they wanted to partake in all of our sugar supply also. Not going to happen! We have been using Rubbermaid Brillance storage containers for food leftovers for years with great results. So when ants arrived, so did these new containers. Problem solved! These Rubbermaid Brillance storage containers are well made. They are good and sturdy, not thin flimsy plastic. Lids fit very tight and really do seal air (and ants!) out. Very dishwasher safe and can use in your microwave with no problems. Containers do not stain like cheaper plastic ones do. You may pay a bit more for these, but they are really worth the money.

My son bought me a set as part of my birthday presents and I am hooked!!! Best containers I've ever had. My addiction. All the sizes. The containers fit inside each other and the lids fit each other. My leftovers last longer, I have a long, big one that I cut a head of lettuce in half, out both halves down and my lettuces lasts a long time. Putting food away has never been easier. All my left over veg prep just go into the smaller sizes. They wash up brilliantly in the dishwasher, things that can stain other products like tomato sauce, I just rub a little Dawn dish soap around and into the dishwasher. No syaining. They freeze, fridge, microwave and dishwasher safe. I'm never looking through a dozen lids to find one that fits. They are airtight so sometimes getting the lid off of leftovers can take some muscle but air tight is what keeps the food fresher longer. I send sets as gifts. I asked my bonus daughter if she liked the set I sent her because I never heard and she got so excited telling me how much she and her man loved them. It blew me away that she was so excited about them. They are in an apartment without a dishwasher until her dad moves and sells them the house so storage is at a premium and dishes is a chore so Rubbermaid Brilliance helps them with both those challenges. Sometimes I feel like I'm a Rubbermaid Brilliance representative I preach them so much and send them to people for gifts. They can be spendy, I wait for sales or returns but the quality is there, it saves me money on food waste, I put away and stack leftovers in the fridge in a jiffy... I never lend them out or send a meal or treats to someone in them, I would never get them back.

This is some of the best, if not the best, food storage. It is airtight, and the clear plastic makes it easy to see the contents. I have purchased several of these over the years, and they are just as good as the day I bought them. The smaller ones wash well in the top rack of the dishwasher. The only drawback is the price, but if you consider their durability, you are getting a good value after all. I would recommend to anyone.

I like the "Brilliance" line a lot. I have several of the smaller rectangular storage containers. They are great for fridge storage. The lids seal well and keep things fresh. I use the smaller ones all the time for deli items and leftovers. You can put blue cheese in them and odors are contained and nothing gets in either. I don't microwave things in mine, not that often anyway, and they look like new a year later. I bought this gallon container because it was on sale and will work well for the pantry. Just keep in mind that Brilliance containers aren't unbreakable. If you drop them they'll crack. If you don't they should last a very long time.

Purchased this container as substitute cigar storage. (Just add humidity packs) Not it's labeled use, but it work fantastically. Product is very sturdy, wonderful air seal when lid is compressed. Allows me easy access when needed and relatively effortless to close and store.

This fits a medium size box of Cheerios very nicely. All-in-all, it is a lovely container for keeping things airtight and fresh. However my husband did point out one thing he dislikes about it - the opening lid on the pour hole doesn't stay upright as you pour your cereal into a bowl. It just flops back to a down position. So my husband has to hold the lid upright while also trying to pour what he wants into a bowl. It's a little thing but would have been a nice feature.

I needed something to store my oatmeal but it can be used to store any dry goods. It's solid, crystal clear, with a great top, exactly as described. It looks so good I intend to buy some more. I recommend it.

So you know those silica packets that you get in most of the things you buy? The desiccants that keep things dry and mold free? Well I use those as a substitute for rice in those "just put it in a bag of rice" repairs. This process has helped me save hundreds of electronics. It also helps with generally drying out any components that I wash and want to get absolutely dry. This can work with any number of things. Well I wanted to scale up the operation and have a container that can hold all of my hundreds of packs of desiccants that ive collected over the years. Well this container is perfect. Its relatively airtight and is made of some very solid feeling clear polycarbonate kind of material. The lid snaps into place and holds very very firmly. Overall this container has been fantastic for my uses. You throw in a phone that got wet, comes out bone dry in 48 hours. Its been a fantastic tool. Needless to say, a lot of the usefulness of this tool has to do with this rubbermaid container. Fantastic. Im sure its good for foodstuffs too.

I have several of these and use them for flour sugar etc. Stackable. Very easy-to-use. The seal on cover sells the product for me. Various sizes, easy to clean. Great value for money..
