This is one huge monitor, great for gaming, you can't beat the picture quality on this monitor. I paired this with the new Alienware Desktop Computer, the graphics are amazing. Functionality is awesome. Price was ok for the size of the monitor, you definitely get your money's worth.

Monitor was ok, however, within a month, the monitor no longer turned on. Samsung support has been horrible. Absolutely horrible. They insist on having a third party repair (ServiceQuick) come out and take a look. Service Quick will schedule a time and no tech will show up. I'm sitting here with a $800 monitor that doesn't turn on and I can't return it. No idea what to do. Probably wont purchase another Samsung product. The premium G9s have been great but this model not so good. Buyer Beware, run to a company like Dell that will actually send a tech.

Think the LCD version is great although saw the OLED version the other day @ BestBuy and there is no comparison the blacks are deeper and everything pops out. The unit arrived in good condition I kept the box just if I have to move it again the bent displays are very fragile and can't take much e little tick and they crack they are under tension I destroyed two other ones by not being careful not this type but a Dell and Samsung curved 34 inch. So tip keep the box. The screen itself generates a lot of heat the display front is hot this part worried me for longevity. Colors are accurate however when you turn your head in front of it and black parts in the corners look grey just a problem with LCD's in general. The high refresh rate gets easily handled by my laptop a Dell 5570 with a video card over a USB to HDMI adapter gets to 240hz my desktop also no issues with a RTX 3060 full res and refresh rate. so far so good reading the reviews am worried about cracking but future will tell.

I'd been eyeballing one of these Odyssey G9's for some time, so I finally picked one up. I'll say this - it's an amazing experience to both work and play games on such an ultrawide screen. I simply love it. The colors are great, too. I get no screen tearing, games are fluid (driving this monitor with an Nvidia 3090ti), and working on it is amazing. Text is nice and sharp, too. Simply love this monitor. So, then, why give it only 4 stars? The monitor came with one stuck pixel. I contacted Amazon about getting a replacement and was told that the only real option I had was to send this one back first, await my refund, and then order another one. That wasn't going to work for me since I needed this for work and simply can't take off several days while this was all sorted out. Fortunately, the stuck pixel is not always noticeable and near the bottom edge of the screen. Secondly, while sliding the monitor back on my desk, two of the rubber feet on the display stand simply came off. I had to lift up this monitor to stick them back on. At this price point, I'd expect the rubber feet to adhere a bit better then that ... at least enough to allow me to slide the monitor a bit if I need to access the back or re-adjust it's position on my desk. Despite these two things, I really love this monitor.

I moved from a dual monitor setup for my work PC to this to get a bit more room as well as double as a secondary gaming PC. The picture quality is great, and I didn't have to change the settings out of the box. Moving between the wide mode to 1440p depending on the game is easy, and the monitor adjusts with no fuss. I am using this with a 7900xt, and there's less flickering and overall tinkering required than my 4090 and OLED ultra-wide on my dedicated gaming rig. Everything just works. I generally like a smooth finish with no matte coating on my screens, but this coating doesn't get in the way. There's no fuzziness, and colors look great in games. No dead pixels upon arrival, and setup was quick and easy.

This monitor is amaizing. I am using for office and not for gaming. Kids sometime use for basic games. The view is outstanding and it'll help you be more productive.
