I am delighted with the SAMSUNG 50-Inch Class QLED Q7F Series Vision AI Smart TV with Quantum HDR, Object Tracking Sound Lite, Q4 AI Gen1 Processor, 4K upscaling, Gaming Hub, and Alexa Built-in television. The colors, in stunning 4K with AI optimization, are incredible, and the crisp, clear sounds are automatically enhanced based on the types of shows watched. The nano-sized Quantum Dots can display the entire color spectrum, so you can admire billions of shades at any brightness level. I love that Samsung is making sure our experiences are secure using the Samsung Knox Security, which defends against harmful apps and phishing sites while keeping sensitive data, such as PINs and passwords, secure. It also safeguards the devices connected to the Samsung TV. Another wonderful addition to this television is the incredible array of content available without having to pay for cable! Included without subscription are 2,700+ free channels, including 400+ Samsung TV Plus premium channels and free streaming apps. There are national and local news, sports, movies, and more, with new content being added regularly. This is a huge win for me because I had canceled all of my TV subscriptions except PBS Passport and Paramount+ well before getting this TV, and the addition of these extra channels is super exciting! The setup was very easy. The remote takes a bit of getting used to, and since it is powered by solar, I have to remind myself to put the remote near the window instead of under the TV itself. The size is perfect for my living room, and the precision images from the AI-powered system, incredible automatic sound all make me feel like I am in a theatre. Honestly, the TV is that sharp and crisp. A bit more information from the company below- Refine your entertainment experience with our next-level smart TV. This 4k QLED screen has a great picture. I have really been enjoying watching 4k content on it and seeing the clarity, color and textures of the video. I like that it has 3 HDMI ports (one supporting eARC), an ethernet port for hard wired connection to your network, a USB port and an antenna connection. The ports are on the right hand side if you are facing the TV, which is the opposite of two of my previous TV’s. I was surprised, the TV is a little thicker than I was expecting. It seems like new LED TV’s are getting thinner and thinner and yet this one was about 2.4 inches thick. I thought the TV was very easy to set up and was very plug and play with other devices. The “feet” used to support the TV when not mounted on a wall are very sturdy and easy to install (no tools required). The remote is very small and minimalist and kind of reminds me of a Firestick remote. Interestingly it has solar charging built-in! There are a lot of things you can do with the smart hub features but to use them you will need to create a Samsung account. The Samsung account in combination with their app on your phone will allow various smart features including using your phone as a remote. The smart hub will let you play games, use your TV as artwork, get access to lots of free (sometimes ad supported) content, and even access fitness programs. This TV even has an integrated AI assistant and a web browser you can use to surf the internet! My only concern with this TV is that I saw lots of complaints about the previous (2017) generation of this TV failing after 2 years. I am hoping the improvements in this new 2025 model will help with those concerns but only time will tell. In any case this is an exceptional TV for the money.

I got this TV to replace the smaller TV in my room. I have it wall mounted using a wide bracket wall mount that holds up to 100 lbs. The size of this is perfect for where it is. The picture quality is really good. If you want the Smart TV functions, it is easily to setup the first time you turn it on, but you do have to agree to several data collection agreements from Samsung. The remote is small, easily to use, and USB-C rechargeable. It's a pretty good deal at $450 and it is a 2025 model. Another good thing is the way you can connect to the internet/home network. You can use either WIFI or RJ-45. WIFI was easily to setup as well. Some of the issues I have run into is: - The home screen is very cluttered. They try to make it look like how the streaming services make their main windows look like. It is very confusing to find what you are looking for. There is one panel that is used for all the different output, that is difficult to figure out how to change at first, and you can't tell what panel is selected when you go to click the panel. - Secondly, I only use Roku 4k express on this TV so I don't need to use their home screen but, unfortunately, the remote will not sync with the TV to allow volume and power control. Hopefully this gets fixed in an update, either Samsung or Roku.
