It was time to retire my old plastic cutting boards that were covered in knife marks, stains, and scratches. I wanted something with less microplastics and bacteria and that was easy to clean. I ended up ruling out wood because of splinters and because I did not want to oil it regularly. After doing some research, I decided to invest in this double-sided stainless steel and wheat straw cutting board and I'm so glad I did! I'm really happy with this cutting board and use it while preparing every meal. The stainless steel side is perfect for cutting raw meats (I've cut up Costco salmon into sashimi on it), while the wheat straw side is comparable to plastic and ideal for fruits, vegetables, and cooked foods. Both sides are non-porous, so they don't absorb any liquids or odors, making them easy to wipe off with a sponge without any staining or stinking up my sink. The cutting board is sturdy and stays in place on my countertop, even when I'm cutting something tough like raw vegetables. You can also use the stainless steel handle on the side for a more secure grip and to make sure it doesn't slip while you're cutting. If you're looking for a durable, hygienic, and easy-to-clean cutting board, I highly recommend this one! It's a great size and, in a pinch, can even be used as a charcuterie board for a party or movie night. I don't think I'll ever need another cutting board.

I just love my new cutting board. It's very sturdy, looks durable and will surely last for long. It was used a lot last Christmas and New Year. It was able to handle my cutting, chopping and slicing chores. It's very easy to clean. It does not leave nor absorb odor which is great. Great quality and a beautiful statement in my kitchen.Friends were asking where I got it. The most important thing is that it's very hygienic .I'm very confident that I'm not giving my family food that is contaminated with bacteria. The back area which is the porous material is as good as the stainless part and overall it's a great purchase. The only downside is that it's quite heavy for my small hands, but it does not slide or slip from my counter top. Thank you to whoever got this idea of having this product into fruition. I just love it. From a kitchen product fanatic.

Had to return as metal on handle arrived bent exposing sharp metal even though the handle was covered in a plastic piece to protect it in shipping. Like the board itself. Easy to use, doesn’t slip and easy to clean. Haven’t used the opposite side but bought it for the convenience of size , drainage and no plastic or wood pulp going into food. be stored on counter as it looks that good or hung up by handle.

I wasn't sure about a metal sided cutting board but I liked the look & do worry a little bit about microplastics. I haven't noticed my knives being duller so if the metal to metal is harder it hasn't had any major effect. It looks good, cleans easily & gives me peace of mind. I'm buying another for my dad. I Highly Recommend it.

It’s a little larger than anticipated, but I really like that it’s double sided, stainless for meat products is super easy to sanitize. The stainless does show cut marks but that was expected.
