This is a great shoe rack that will hold 30+ shoes. It was very easy to put together. I like that there’s a cover to go over shelves to keep dust out. The front easily opens with two front zippers. I liked this storage shelf so much decided to purchase another one to store seasonal winter shoes in it.

First off, please note that I purchased a second rack and added three tiers from it to the first rack, and those final photos are included in my review. So, the unit showing in my photos is three rows taller than what you will receive if you only order one. It is very nice that this is an option with this unit, because I dress up for work and therefore have a lot of shoes. But with three rows added, this fits all of mine and my boyfriend’s shoes, even our outdoor hiking/golf shoes that we used to keep in the garage. You could really create as many uncovered different racks as you want to for multiple rooms or closets, but the only issue would be the cover that comes with each rack. What I ended up doing was just putting one of the covers on top of the extra tall rack, which works great and it’s not even really obvious that it does not fit the whole rack based upon it being in between the wall and the washing machine. You can’t even really tell that the cover stops three rows before the floor. This way, I can unroll the front cover to dust cover my heels that are used less often, but still have access to my every day shoes without unzipping the cover all the way. I plan to put the extra tiers in another closet for future use. The materials are pretty good quality - metal poles connected by sturdy plastic connectors with a canvas/fabric cover and shelves. I do not have any stability concerns even after adding three more tiers to the unit than what it is designed for and loading it with shoes. Obviously, a completely metal or wood rack would be more sturdy, but that would inherently be a lot more expensive. I think these materials are pretty good for the price, and have shown no signs of wear or breaking so far. I would not anticipate an issue with durability unless a kid was to crash into it or something. The individual tier shelves are fabric sheets stretched between the back and front support poles, which you can leave off of any row to create room for tall boots if needed (but I just lay mine flat on the top row). My only complaint is the fabric shelves can lead to a somewhat unstable surface for storing stiletto or other heels, as it is more like a tightly stretched hammock than a flat shelf, and they tend to fall over if they aren’t leaning on another pair, but that is obviously just aesthetics. Additionally, there is a little bit of a gap between where the fabric shelving ends and the connectors/side of the rack, so the heel of the shoes on the far left or right can fall into the gap and topple over sometimes. But, again, I really have this rack overloaded with heels, and have five pairs on almost every tier, which probably isn’t your average user. I have no issues at all with storing normal tennis shoes or flats. In summary, this shoe storage rack has really changed the appearance of our house. Before, there were shoes in closets, bedrooms, garages, by all of the doors outside, and literally just spread everywhere, and now they are stored in one nice neat place in the laundry room by the garage door, which really looks fantastic and is very functional and convenient. I can’t believe I didn’t buy something like this years ago, and I would definitely buy this again (and literally already did).

This is a nice shoe rack to have to store your shoes and the cover makes it ideal to withstand dust. I was impressed with the material and also the overall quality and design. It was a great buy for the money and the size is large but sturdy.

My wife has lots of shoes, and we needed something sturdy enough to hold them all. This shoe rack works nicely. It was easy to put together (in fact, they sent the wrong instructions with the first one we ordered, but I was quickly able to figure out how to assemble it without the instructions). Both boxes shipped to us (at separate times) contained all parts needed, and the whole unit seems well engineered. This is a low-cost solution, so don't expect it to hold 100 sets of boots, as the metal rails (tubes) are relatively thin. I like that it also contains hardware to secure the top to the wall, so no worries about it falling over. Also, she likes that the shelves are full pieces of fabric (that is, no holes for the heels of high heel shoes to fall through and get stuck). Recommended product!

I had been looking for a good shoe rack like this for a while. This is not only good for shoe storage but also for foods (not cans) or other lighter stuff. Shelves are made of very lightweight materials. However, the design felt sturdy enough to support the weight if all shelves are fully used. Super easy and fast to put together without any tools. Because of the "airy" fabric shelves and cover, I feel like it would allow moisture to escape and help with the mold problem. Lightweight storage like this would be very easy to move and reorganize the space around the house. Highly recommended.

I received an odd rust color, which wasn’t even an available color. The assembly was fairly simple. Two plastic elbow pieces that hold the lightweight aluminum poles together were broken but fortunately, the product was packaged and shipped with 2 extra plastic parts, which I appreciate. The shoe holder works fine for my intended purpose of having floor space since most of my shoes are no longer on my closet floor, yay! However, I have small feet (women’s US size 6.5) and only 3 pairs of shoes fit per shelf. 3 pairs x 9 inside shelves + 3 pairs on top does not equal the advertised 40 pair shoe holder (50 if you order the wider shoe holder). My high heels fall off the sides of the shelves because the fabric does not go all the way to the end of the pole that slides into the fabric. I do have boxes of shoes stacked on top of the whole room as a result, and I also have flats on the inside top shelf overlapping to fit 4 pairs. Because the case isn’t very dustproof (my shoes were dusty despite being zipped into the storage case after the first month), and the zippers are very lightweight, therefore, I didn’t think the zippers would hold up with daily or weekly use, and I began leaving the zippers open. I can’t attest to zipper ability to hold up with use over time with regular use. Also, the fabric is not actually fabric-it’s that same type of cheap synthetic messy stuff some bedskirts are attached to that lies underneath the mattress. Overall, it’s ok for the $30-$40 but appears very cheap and if you’re searching for something nicer, look elsewhere. Sadly, it’s likely a mass-produced product made in China, where workers are grossly underpaid and overworked because their options are severely limited.

Easy to build , felt a little flimsy but for where I am storing it and what’s its purpose is it’s fine. Cover is great over it. Keeps the look neat and dust off the shoes.
