We like daylight bulbs and these give off a nice true white light and are cheaper than buying at the big box stores. 75W equivalent is oddly hard to find, so these were a good buy.

I have switched all of my soft white bulbs to Daylight. It completely brightened the look of my family room. It always had this dark, dingy look. These bulbs last forever! Highly recommend!

SYLVANIA is a trusted brand and it did not disappoint, especially at this price point. The quality is great, beats the dollar store LED light bulb by a million miles.

I found these when trying to find replacement lamps for a fixture consisting of three can-style heads. I purchased them specifically because they were approved for enclosed fixture use after a previous set of department store brand lamps failed after several months of use. 2-1/2 years later, one of these has failed, and the plastic housings for the others are cracked and discolored. In fairness, this fixture is on all day, and the 11,000-hour service life for these lamps reported in the listing has likely been surpassed. Still, they have not outlasted the CFLs that were previously used in this fixture, which is disappointing for a name-brand lamp.

I wanted something brighter for the dining room light which had 900 lumen bulbs. I thought 1100 lumens would be great since we play a lot of board games at the dining room table. Oh my - these were so bright. Great for games but don't look at them else you'll be seeing spots for hours. Eventually replaced them with bulbs that were a "warm white" --- much better. These bulbs will be great in the basement where bright light is more welcome.

I've been using Sylvania bulbs for many years and have found them to be the best quality on the market. Lightbulbs come in different temperatures on a yellow-white scale: 2700 kelvin - Claims "soft" light and gives light that is yellow. Unlike the old school incandescent soft white lights which combined white, pink and yellow, all LED "soft white" lights do not have the softening pink cast, and, as such, give people's skin a more yellowish tone, which some people do not find flattering. 3500 kelvin - Gives a soft neutral, less yellow and more white light than 2700. 5000 kelvin - Gives a complete white and stark light as in a hospital setting. These bulbs being reviewed are 3500, and, unless I'm mixing bulbs of various temperatures in a room, use these with the more neutral light. -- Very much unlike some other reviews, for me, this Sylvania brand has always outlasted any of the various other brands I've used over the years which is the reason for my opinion. --

So far these bulbs are working great and we've had no issues with them. This giant box should last awhile!
