You're not going to fell 20 year old oaks with this saw, but it does make short work of trimming errant or windfall branches. This has grown to be one of my top five yard work tools for all seasons.because of its strong lasting battery power and overall ease of use.

I live in the country and the perimeter of my yard is about 1700'. Every year I would suffer with blisters and eventually end up with trigger thumb or trigger finger from the constant pressure from traditional pruners. After three trips to a hand specialist (once each year) I decided there had to be a better way to get this unpleasant and painful job done. That's when I saw an add for this tiny handheld chainsaw on FB. I did my usual research on which brand would be the best for the money and decided on this one. I have to say it's the best gardening tool I've ever bought and believe me, I've bought a few! I was able to trim back an overgrowth of a mixture of wisteria, blackberry canes, wild grape vines and honeysuckle vines in no time. I cleared a swath approximately 30' long, 3' deep and 4' high in about 45 minutes. It would have taken hours and many blisters to do the same amount with regular pruning shears. So, trimming is now fun......the hauling off the trimmings, well not so much but it's gotta be done! This little gem comes with two extra blades, safety goggles, a pair of so so gloves, a tiny bottle of oil for the chain, a couple of tools, two 20v batteries, and of course, the owner's manual. Not to mention a very nice sturdy tool box to store this treasure in. There are only two downsides to owning this wonderful tool. One is that it can be a bit tricky changing out the blades for a fresh one. It took me a while but I finally managed to get it on properly. The other downside is that using this little gem is so much fun, you trim away and don't want to quit and then you see what a huge pile of branches and such that have to be hauled away. Oh well. Anyway, if you want to make trimming easier, this is the tool for you. I'm 72 years old, had a stroke last year, and can work for several hours with this as it's lightweight and again, fun to use. Go ahead, purchase one. It's a keeper!

Play Video This is second unit I have purchased, the first one died but was used a lot last year. I have several hardwood trees around the home and broken limbs and light trimming is needed all year long. Plus points are easy to handle and quickly trim or cut up limbs with the 6-inch length. Con's are easily the battery charging time takes more than a couple of hours it seems. I used my older unit batteries and doubt this one shows the charge status light on the battery itself. Good to have spare chains but they tend to stretch and get loose. Adjustment is better with this unit for the nut but the adjustment is harder to perform with the small screwdriver. If you plan to do more work look into the 40v 10-inch units but this is a delight to use clearing limbs and small firewood. And yes I do recommend if this works for light duty and reasonable price.

Purchased to trim smaller limbs, saplings, some bushes, we have found this to be an easy to use, reliable tiny chain saw. My grown son came to visit and climbing up into our large Crepe Myrtle tree used it to trim out a large number of dead branches 2-3 inches in diameter. He liked it so, he requested one for himself for a Christmas gift. It is an amazing little saw, easy to maneuver.

I purchased this for pruning branches hanging on my horses fence and was totally surprised at how well it works! The chain has been replaced once and getting ready to change the second one. It’s perfect for women because it’s easy to handle and light weight. As you can see it’s well used!

My wife! I talked for weeks last year about wanting a mini chain saw. Well “Santa” gave me one. This review is written after having it for three weeks. I read reviews. Watched YouTube reviews. Thought about a Milwaukee or similar. But wifey pulled the trigger on this super reasonable Saker as a surprise. So far I’ve cut and trimmed giant Oleanders, African Sumac tree, assorted bushes, and this morning, a Queen Palm. What’s great: - does everything I hoped for and more(and I’m sure I’m using it for some things for which it is not intended) - cuts through small branches like butter - cuts through 4” diameter solid wood super quick - cuts through super fibered palm branches easily - used it today for an hour plus. Went to recharge the battery when finished. It was still full charge. - easy to operate. - saves time. Work that would have taken me an hour plus is now 10-15 minutes What could be better: - don’t know yet. Having too much fun - stuff gets caught in the chain in the housing area once in a while and the saw stops. But it’s easy to clear, and I believe that it would happen with any mini chainsaw. Here’s two pics. One of my queen palm aftermath. Spent more time setting up and moving the ladder than cutting, also one of the product and case and accessories. Comes with charger, lubricant, directions, two extra chains, two batteries, tools to replace chain, gloves, and safety glasses. The case is nice. Easy. Fits everything. It’s only 3-4 times of use but I love it so far. I’ll do me best to throw another review in a few months and speak to durability. Would I buy this again or recommend it to a friend? Heck yes!

I do over landing camping if some don’t know so they have this tool in my truck when we go down trails come to a tree that’s down across the road. You will have what you need to clear the path. It can handle a 6 inch log but is capable of cutting up to an 8 inch log Trimming limbs in your yard pruning bushes this thing does it all two batteries so one could be on charge while you’re using the other pick you one up very well worth the price

This little saw works like magic. Love the power and cuts through tree limbs up to 6 inches wide. I am a 65 year old woman and this chainsaw is easy to handle, light enough to hold and cuts excellent. Has a good charge time..Will be buying this tool for gifts for the kids. So very handy. Would recommend buying this..

I love this mini chain saw. Although it is a 6” mini chain saw, it could be used to cut more than 6” tree trunk if handle it well. Took me only a few minutes to cut down a tree tree trunk of 8-10”.

This is a tool for cutting smaller branches 4" and below. It's surprisingly powerful, and it's battery is surprisingly long-lasting. A slow chain speed means that it can get caught sometimes and can snap backwards. Thankfully nothing too violent and it's manageable so there is little danger of hurting yourself if you are careful. It's ready to use out of the box and the batteries only take 10 to 15 minutes to charge. That really was a pleasant surprise. The noise is very low and your neighbour will not be bothered at all. It's so powerful that I bet you you can cut a 6" branch no problem. The good thing about such a tool is that you'll have no hesitancy to wipe it out for odd jobs unlike a full size chain saw that you'll have to think twice about pulling out of the garage. At the end of the day isn't that the biggest endorsement of any tool? Don't bother with the so called accessories. The googles are thin, the gloves will not protect you, or even keep you warm, but the oil was indeed handy.
