I always was annoyed with how I had to dig out a knife or scissors to open my boxes so wanted something dedicated to this job and this was the perfect box cutter for the job! It’s quite sharp but luckily you can grip it easily without causing any problems and when you slide the blade back it is very secure in its storage. I love the size of the blade, the grips are perfect for the one job it does for me. It has made mail day a little bit better for me so I recommend this for anyone at this item.

Look, is this AS sharp and AS good as a cutter with a traditional blade? No. However, if you really are just using it to open boxes mostly, you don’t need something insanely sharp. And if you have kids around, it can make you anxious about the idea of them finding where you keep the box cutter. I was hopeful that this would be good, while trying to keep my expectations low, since it didn’t have a sharp blade. However, to my surprise, it not only cuts just as effectively, but also with almost no extra effort than a traditional box cutter. Any time I have needed to use this, it worked exactly how I needed it to. Furthermore, the ergonomic design actually does make it easier on the hand to cut when you have to break down a ton of boxes. And you really do need to apply a good amount of pressure to break skin with this blade. I recommend this over any alternative by far.

I love this box cutter. The handle gives you a firm and secure feeling versus the Slice Mini Box Cutter device I previously purchased. The ability to have the blade only slightly exposed makes cutting tape on box tops safe, ensuring you won't cut into anything in the box, and the second blade depth easily cuts through double-corrugated boxes. My only criticism is that with all that extra handle space, they didn't make room to store extra blades anywhere. An engineering design flaw that would have made this an indispensable household item.

So easy to use; hold onto and it's totally safe as the ceramic blade locks into place and then locks back away. I would highly recommend. I have one in the kitchen and one in the garage.

I really like these ceramic cutters!! So much so, my last purchase brings my cache to 4!!! I have them handy at different places in the house. They are easy to handle, successfully cut most everything (including heavy cardboard boxes) or single piece of paper or gift wrap. Safer to use than a box cutter (which still have their use) and easy and safe to store.

Wasn't expecting much with ceramic blade but it works Brill. Carved up loads and loads of cardboard easily for the ♻️ recycling. Happy days. Just ordered some replacement blades for it but having said that, the one which came pre installed shows no signs of getting blunt and of course if it does its easy to turn around and refit

Noża używam już trochę i na pewno spełnia swoją rolę. Nie można jednak go traktować jak zwykły metalowy nóż. Ostrze jest ceramiczne i nie jest ostre. Jest ono wykonane oczywiście tak specjalnie, aby chronić produkty znajdujące się w opakowaniu. Idealnie nadaje się w związku z tym do przecinania taśmy, otwierania pudełek, ale mocniejszych opakowań nim nie otworzymy.
