I wanted to start a raw diet for my Devon Rex but I just don't have the time and this was a good alternative. I did speak to my vet about this and we went over the ingredients and she approved the Stella & Chewy Freeze Dried Raw Cat Morsels. My cat loved the Chicken and eats it very well. I did order all different flavors and the Salmon and Beef both made him sick at his stomach but the Chicken, Duck and Turkey have been great so I will stick with those 3. The cost is a bit higher but my cat is only 6 pounds so we just do one serving a day and this has lasted a long time. I have it on my subscribe and save every 2 months. Lots of complaints about how to use them but if you just pour a little warm water over them and let them set for a few minutes they break up easily. The Beef is the hardest to break and then the turkey. The chicken is easiest and the Salmon and Duck are good but not as easy as the chicken. Lots of complaints about there being a lot of powder and yes the easier to break up morsels are more powdery but you should be breaking them up anyway so that is really not relevant. All in all for me great investment.

My senior Kitty has become very picky lately and I've been trying different products. She has an allergy to fish, so I have to be very careful with the ingredients; even cod liver oil makes for have terrible ulcers around her lips. This product has very limited ingredients and she has hasn't had any problems with this food. When I gave her the Duck Duck Goose for the first time, she devoured every one of them. I tried moistening the pellets with warm water, but she prefers them dry. I just have to make sure that her water bowl is filled at all times. She's still pretty picky so I rotate her food, but every time we get to the Duck Duck Goose day she looks at me and meows expectantly! Bonus effect: since starting to hurt on this food, I've noticed is that she's acting like a kitten again! This tells me that the ingredients are of high quality and that she's digesting them easily. Thank you Stella and Chewie for making a quality product!

I've been wanting to switch my cats to freeze dried food for a very long time. Dry kibble has made their poop smell extremely bad and they developed bad breath. With the chicken, this flavor is one of their favorites. In the beginning I used water, but now I use a topper to give it more flavor when it's feeding time. Since I have transitioned them, noticed a big difference in their poop and their breath is less smelly. I also noticed that this one, chickens and salmon and cod are easy to smash than the turkey and beef morsels. Only con is that there isn't a larger bag option for these. It can get pretty expensive to buy depending how many cats you have.

I love this as a crumble on my Cat's food but I am no longer buying from Amazon because they started delivery food that is completely hard,and over dried out. Too costly to be getting a loss of nutrition.

Switching protein sources for cats is important. Feeding raw beef is not suitable for all cats as they tend to have digestive upset. For some reason this food does not cause the same vomiting in my kitties as raw beef recipes I make. I do feed raw only. I change meats, chicken, turkey, fish only sometimes, lamb and beef. Never cooked or canned food. They all love the food and the ingredients are quite beneficial and suitable for felines. I use as a topper to chicken and as a whole meal at different times. As some reviewers have reported the pellets can be very hard in some bags. I solve that by putting into my coffee grinder. After a couple of bursts it breaks it down enough or do it until a finer powder forms. The draw back to using freeze dried is that if it sits in water it doesn't have the same chew factor. Cats should chew so there muscles and teeth stay healthy. Giving it dry tends to make them gag, sticks in their throats. I like that there is species appropriate bone in the product too.

My cat loves the cork sized pieces, but he does not eat the pieces that are crumbled and crushed. Unfortunately, Amazon deliveries of this food arrive with half of the pieces crushed into dust, and that's a lot of wasted food and $$$. I have ordered it several times through Amazon, and every time it arrives with a lot of crushed pieces. At this point I purchase this type of food at a local store or even order it for delivery from a local pet supply store.

I have two kittens at home and they love this stuff. I use it as a topper for their dry kibble with chicken broth. I take one each and crumble it. Seems like enough when you do it that way. I’ve never fed them a whole because it is very dry. I don’t need them choking.

Very nice food, definitely would buy again. Only issue was the size of the pieces, I had to chop them up so my cat could fit them in her mouth. My cat has breathing issues, so maybe other cats wouldn’t have the same problem? Overall, great food.

The delivery was fast and packet well. Also, the packaging of the products with respect to freshness was really amazing as most of the products imported from other companies has a short expiration date but its not with this product. A bit on expensive side and i will surely buy again in future if seller provides an exclusive discount or any rebate which will again be appreciated.
