I read a mix of good an bad reviews of this product before placing my order. This product works exactly as described. Lots of stars in the package, many of them were small (less than 1 inch across), but that's not a bad thing, just something to be aware of. There were also plenty of large stars as well so it's a good mix of sizes. It would honestly look boring to only have huge stars. We didn't put up all the stars in the package, as there are just so many. The feel of the plastic felt good, unlike cheap plastic as I was expecting. We put these stars up as a family and that was fun. Our daughter is almost 3 years old and was able to help us stick some on the walls. The mounting putty worked well for us. If it doesn't work well for you, it's not expensive to buy another brand. It's $1.89 at Target for Scotch brand for example. As far as the glow of the stars, you have to charge it using light. Sunlight doesn't work well because by the time it gets dark enough to see the glow, the charge from the sun would have worn off the stars. I've tested the glow with different light sources. LED recessed lights worked well overall to charge all the stars in the room. The most intense glow I achieved was using a high lumen flashlight pointed at groups of stars or single stars. Makes sense, as the more intense the light source, the more intense the glow. I'd buy this product again and would recommend it. Nice gift idea too! Hope this review helps someone =)

I got these to decorate my seven year old's ceiling after we re-decorated his room. He is in to space and these were a nice added touch. We have the light on when he gets ready for bed and for story time and then when we shut off the lights, these shine. They're not super bright, but bright enough to where he doesn't need a night light any longer. These do stick nicely and when I had worried about any potential damage when taking them off, my worries were gone when they come off without causing any damage to the ceiling.

The stars are nice for a single room. Can be used in to two rooms if desired, but will be very spaced out. There is only one moon shape. The stars do glow after being exposed to light and can only be seen in complete darkness. Directly shining a flashlight or putting in the sun and then taking it to a dark place will show the glow brightly.

I've been wanting some of these for awhile and just hadn't gotten around to getting them. I like the idea of "sleeping under the stars". Pros There are 200 of them so can be plenty creative or just spatter them about everywhere as you like. It comes with constellations and star points to help you create them if you want the "starry night" look to be more realistic Bonus moon, if you really care about that. Easy to use and remove putty. If had stick on backs probably wouldn't work so well on textured ceilings like most are, including mine. Cons They don't glow as bright as reported. They do glow, I just wish it was brighter. It recommends an hour in the light, longer for more brightness. Mine have been in the light for nearly a day and still not very bright, in the same room I plan to put the rest of them up everywhere. Once they are stuck on the ceilings and walls, all you have is the room light, so can't just move them at will to any brighter lights unless you want to have to stick them all back up again every time. It's the effectiveness with the light you have at hand while using them that is what matters and can be a problem if want them to glow well based on where you are using them. It is because of this it lost a star. Moon isn't very big so not exactly believable and can actually ruin the illusion of sleeping under the stars.

Easy to apply, hold well and look great. Luminescence functionality works well with sunlight and can function with artificial light if it is direction shone onto the clings.

I wanted some constellations in my music room, especially the Big and Little Dipper ! But I got so many other stars (AND a MOON !) that I really went into another galaxy with my designs :) Good fun. Easy to apply, remove and re-position. Long-lasting GLOWS !!! Thank You

We used them our kids' room on the ceiling. It's hard work getting them to stick and they don't light up very well unless you use an outside light. Dedicate a while to it and use a spotlight at bedtime to really make them glow.

Brillan bien, es un poco molesto recortar el pegamento de adhesion en pequeños pedazos. Con alguna navaja o cutter, con las tijeras es más batallar, se adhieres bien a la pared solo q eh comprado otro productos donde ya vienen recortada la adhesión y es más práctico y sencillo , fuera de eso es buen producto!
